Good Morning LL! Another late start and Tess is off and running! I haven't seen a drop like this at +2 since we awitched to Lev. We usually wait to test until +3, but she had a low AMPS so we caught it today.

So Tess gets to eat the higher carb PP that was in the fridge. I'm so glad she likes the Wellness again though. It seems like once every month or two she goes on a "I want something different" jag. A few days of different food and a little raw and then Wellness is OK again. I'm not going to chance the chicken for a while though.

This is Tess's year and a half anniversary since dx. At first we thought she would be fast track kitty, but then she went back up and stalled. Tess became enthralled with ,

, and . :roll: I think the UTI we found at Christmas time may have been brewing on a low level for a long time and just got missed. That and the switch to Lev have made a big difference. I'm also a lot more patient than I was back then. It's hard to believe that we have been on Levemir nearly 6 months now. Not sayin' nuttin' more, but :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: .

Just stopping by to say happy 1.5 year anniversary. That sounds odd, being that nobody celebrates getting diabetes, but I guess it's a congrats for being such a good bean and sticking with her during this longer-than-anticipated time. Tess is adorable!

happy 1.5 anniversary Tess! I did have to laugh over the emoticons - I can't decide it she taught Mannie, or Mannie taught Tess. I remember so much all the ohmygod_smilies back and forth on the bungees and the dives and the bounces and the mermaid hunts. Halloween was a classic. What a great wcr this AM, and thanks for the humor.

Wow, look at Tess go today! I think she wants a reduction! I love those icons/emoticons, especially the diver and swimming pool. Happy year and a half year anniversary.

It looks like those lows are giving her a bit of a bounce. Hang in there Tess, green for the party!.

Has anyone seen the new flavor of Wellness? Beef & Salmon. I checked on their website but they don't have the as fed for moisture so I can't figure out the carb %. It looks like they are coming out w/ a whole bunch of new flavors too! all grain free, I guess I need to start calling again. :YMSIGH:

What Roni said!! Tess is looking awesome. I well remember those days of bungee jumping and deep-sea diving. New flavors of Wellness. That should be interesting. But Rusty is a turkey lover, so that's what he eats all the time. He never seems to tire of it.
Green lagoon before the party tonight? Rusty is a bit out of green at the moment, but close enough to do the lagoon.

Tess....no bouncy beautiful girl!!! You love the low numbers.

Beef and salmon....not new. It's been around quite a while. I have the company info...% calories from carbs is 6%. It's one of the ones I use for steering but not for every day regular meals. If you want all the numbers, let me know. I'll email them to you...the sheets.

I've used beef and salmon too - a 6%, not one of the favs here... Mannie liked it (DUH!), the others did not...

Thanks, I've never seen it around here before. When I went to check it out I saw this cubed, sliced and minced canned cat recipes They only had the GA numbers though.
