6/7 Sox amps 398 time for increase????

Here's your last post from yesterday.
He got to a 56 yesterday. He's a little tricky, isn't he? He's close on the dose - it's getting him into green, but he's been on this dose for 18 cycles and it's not quite enough to flatten out his curve overall.
I think what I would do is try feeding the curve. Take a look on the "Where Can I Find?" post, in the second half and look for "Feeding the Curve: Tashie." Basically the idea is that you may need slightly more insulin to bring down the rest of the blood sugar that's higher in the cycle, but you've got to use some food in the lower point of the cycle to prevent Sox from going below 50 for at least a few cycles.
I would probably try increasing him by the full 0.25u - often skootching up in dose isn't as effective as just going up the 0.25u - and then using a medium carb, maybe around 10% or so, around +3 or when I saw he was headed under 75 or so. This is a trial and error method. Your sis will need to tinker around and figure out what works for Sox, once she understands the idea of what she's trying to do. She just wants to keep him over 50 for at least a few cycles while the extra insulin brings down the rest of the numbers in the cycle.
If that doesn't make sense, just holler and I'll try to explain it more.
