overslept ...! Again! staying up too late... and wishing Shadow would eat better. her breffis is hound and gatos lamb chicken salmon and she walked away.
gave her ondansetron.... and will add cypro in a few.
and probably open another can offering to please her.....

i've got church.... planting.... visiting dgm....
walking...
and maybe an hour in the back part of the house since I do have company coming in 11 days and it's a disaster
back there..... still re-arranging from moving dgm to nursing home back in Jan.

oreganum amethyst falls- I bought a lot of these
some new blue columbines I haven't seen before.... like the blue violet flowers....
a miniature hollyhock - very red
Adenophora confusa
oriental poppy and some others I don't know the name of.....
and some new purple spider peonies are on their way.... ( where to put those)
 
Well, when you get them all in, I'd love to see pictures! I need to get myself in gear and get out to plant my bulbs. Still don't know where....

Sending lots of appy vines for Shadow.
 
C'mon Shadow- eat your fuds!! Sending mega tons of vines for your little girl!! Hope you get some sleep tonight.

Hate hailstorms- it ruins everything! :eek:

@Tricia & Cinco You can probably pot those bulbs if you are lacking garden space? (That's what I do in a pinch)

we sure are needing them....

I've thought about freezing all these cans but the one thing for Shadow is she seems to prefer all canned food from the first opening....
in the winter... i can leave a can on the counter for hours and use it a second time.... but it's suddenly warm here.
So I put them in the fridge... and she doesn't want them again most of the time.....
freezing food really takes away that fresh edge....
( i have friends who freeze bread, and casseroles, etc.... and my dh and I just think it ruins the food)
guess we are freshness snobs.... Shadow included....:facepalm:


I bought Shadow a meow mix topper today... ( even tho' I never liked that brand) and she actually ate it....
have no idea what the carbs are.... but i'm getting more desperate to find something she'll eat.
some of them lately have been ff ... and I feel like it's the cause of all that diarrhea.... and that's getting worse again.

I'm going to try to find this tcfeline.... see if she'll accept that.... even if it's only for a few days....

if it wouldn't be such a difficult thing to do, i think I would start raisig mice and dropping them in a blender.... but I know I couldn't stand to do that...... don't like mice... but that's too too ugly....
and knowing Shadow.... she still wouldn't eat that either....
can't reallly let them loose in the house so she could catch them.... as she has no teeth to do it by herself.....


keep those eating vines coming....
 
I use the tc feline supplement with Crystal's raw food. It's very easy, just mince raw chicken tighes (no bone), add the powdered supplement to water then mix the whole lot together. Portion and freeze, Crystal loves it. No mice involved!
 
Interesting that the meow mix didn't affect her.

Sorry you didn't get your planting done. Maybe we can both get it done this week....

Sending lots of good appy vines for Shadow and comfort vines for you. I know you're very stressed about Shadow. Wish I had the magic answer. :bighug:
