Good Evening, Everyone,

Rusty had a small foamy vomit with freeze-dried chicken treat pieces in it about 3 A.M. After it his breathing sounded awful. I think he must have inhaled a treat. After about an hour he sounded better and this morning was all better. Thank goodness! He started the day in the Yellow Marsh, but came down nicely, spent time supervising the lagoon, and has a reasonable--almost normal--PMPS. Fingers and paws crossed that the bounce-and-drop sequence is on the way out.

Once again I am very late to the board. I have been working all day: this morning it took hours to balance the checkbook because I had made several errors of entry last month and the month before (bad me for letting a month go by and then having to do two at once!). We had a short walk in the late morning to clear the air. Then, after lunch, we bought the plants for our little greenhouse: rosemary, basil, oregano, citronella; and petunias for our window boxes and marigolds for a planter barrel. We then had to plant them! What a lot of work gardening is!!! :p I find it hard to believe that some people actually enjoy it! But it's nice to have fresh herbs, and the flowers are lovely to look at. Anyway, it was 5 p.m. before we finished and then we vegged out.

Rusty has had good appetite today. He insisted on sitting in my lap while I was trying to eat dinner. What a cat!

Everyone have a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

Lulu was happy to see Rusty supervising at the lagoon today, his rightful place.

I love gardening...but maybe that`s because I don`t have a garden anymore. I know how much work it is, when my dear Dad was alive, he gave us a portion of his huge garden, so we were pretty well obligated to take his grandchildren out to visit every weekend while we tended to our portion. Strategic move on his part I would say.

The visual of Rusty sitting on your lap while you eat dinner...so cute. He sounds like such a lovey-dovey boy.:cat:

I'm glad to see Rusty made it back to the lagoon. I hope he sticks around this time and doesn't go back up to the yellow marsh.

Rusty, we need you at the lagoon. Your deputies have had their paws full with all the kitties splashing about!

It's so easy to get behind in balancing the checkbook. I won't even tell you how far behind I am in reconciling my credit card statements with the receipts. It's too embarrassing. Every time I get caught up, I swear I'll never fall behind again, but then I get busy, and....

I'm not sure I understand this phrase " catch up"....
How do you do that?

Glad Rusty is back to the good numbers. And sounds like a perfectly good place for him to be to me....

Nice to see things are getting back to normal there! There is no way I will ever get "caught up" so I've stopped trying!:woot:
