Great run for the Purrdstar yesterday, hoomins were very pleased indeed and it's nights like that when it really pays off that mum has 4 o'clock as her shooting time so she's not up until all hours of the night
Once again he decided to give church a miss with this morning's numbers and even a leave pass for mum to stop for morning tea afterwards. What a good boy, but I hope it doesn't take him long to get back to business.
Vyktor woke me up with furry, purry headbutts this morning - always lovely even if it was a bit early! He hadn't eaten at all over night but I think that's because he's decided that Weruva isn't his cup of tea anymore. He ate ok yesterday and there seems to be less groaning on eating. He's such a little trooper
Busy morning for me got to get the dishes done, get Miss Meggy out for her run and then head for a live export protest at the docks. Once again Animals Australia has got footage of atrocious cruelty against Australian animals (not that it should matter which country the animals started in!). This time from Vietnam where they have been sledgehammering to cows to death. The govt keeps telling people that with all the mechanisms they've put in place Australian animals aren't treated cruelly once they get to their destination (as if the trip itself isn't horrifically cruel!) but Animals Australia keeps getting footage showing them to be wrong. I can't believe that a country as developed as Australia still permits live export - shame on us
