6/7 Munchkin PMPS 296, +1.5 261 - Dosecreased tonight

Good Morning LL,

6/6 Condo

Munch enjoyed her evening. And seems to be feeling better today.

I'm wondering if I could get a couple opinions. I can't figure how when her nadir is. I "think" she is double dipping. Possible around +5 & +8 (lower at +8), but nothing seems too consistent with her. I know they can move, but just curious what others see. Also, tonight should be a dosecrease. I'm really interested in seeing what she does today. This is the lowest AMPS in 10 days. Increase by .25? (Just verifying)

OT I've also figured out, I have a mini melt down about every 5 cycles, and that's the day she decides to show me something. Sorry. Again. We'll get that under control.

Hi guys .. awww, no worries on your mini melt downs .. I can't even tell you how many times I came here and cried and whined and vented .. we don't mind No advice from me on the nadirs .. I could never figure out mocha's .. have a great day guys!

It looks to me more like Munchkin's cycle is relatively flat. Some of the differences you're referring to could be explained by meter variance. A flat cycle isn't a bad thing. In fact, flat cycles are characteristic of Lantus. The challenge is to get Munchkin's overall level to be lower AND flat!

I agree - a 0.25u increase looks like it's in order.

So I'm looking for something that doesn't (currently) exist. Hah. That's about right.

Just to make sure I understand correctly. With the variance today's AMPS could have been anywhere between 211 & 316? And yesterday's could have been between 280 & 421. If I look further through yesterday and use that range. she didn't really move at all. So, when looking at dosing, as of right now, I'm not looking for a nadir so to speak--Just looking at the over all range. (I'm kinda just thinking out loud here)

Yeah, I haven't been so great at figuring out Mr. Kink's nadir either! I feel like it moves around :? Good luck with the dosecrease! When we went up .25u we really saw some action with Mr. Kink! Could have been that his shed finally filled, or could have been the increase, but either way - now he's lookin' really good! Scritches to Munchkin from us :smile:

Hi Caitlin & the Amazing Mr. Kink!You guys have been doing so well! We might have a little blue and green envy going on over here. :razz: All in due time though. Not finding a nadir has been driving me crazy. But mostly because I see many who drop, while Munch just does it her way. But now that I'm understanding a little bit better I can see the benefit of being flat--as long as there is improvement.

I just started using Instagram, just discovered android has an app too. (Longing for an iPhone though). Our porch is only big enough for a couple chairs, but I love sitting out there. You and Mr. Kink, and all the kitties and beans, are always welcome to come and hang out There's a fishing dock and beach right down that drop off. I'm sure it would be a grand ole' time! (If it were just that easy!)

What a cute pic of Munchkin taking in the sights. Nice view from your porch. It does seem like Munchkin has been flat. I bet with the dosecrease you'll see some lower numbers. Good luck with it and hang in there. Munchkin is a very lucky kitty to have you as her Bean.

Thanks Ann, I don't think she thinks so at the moment. But she'll get over it. :YMSIGH:

We upped the dose to 2/u tonight. We generally haven't seen a lower number at +1/2, but that could also be just a variance. No sleeping pills tonight so I can check on her.
