Got labs results yesterday for IGF-1, see labs tab at bottom of SS. I tried to insert a table with the lab data to make it easy to see & cogitate. Tried attaching .pdf file which was too blurry, then saved my table as a jpg--again too blurry. There must be a way but I can't figure it out an an hour fooling with it is all I have right now.

ps the interesting point to the labs is the IAA number is up.

Re: 6/7 Lanky AMPS 347

interesting, susan. Lanky's IGF-1 factor isn't really that high compared to some cats, and wasn't even when he was diagnosed. i think i saw 148 - punkin's was 281. wish i knew where i'd read it, but one of the articles i saw last week said that insulin resistance seems to increase with acro. the current iaa was something like 43 - what was it before?

hope lanky comes down a bit today!

Come down Lanky! That is quite high enough, mister.

Sorry, I don't even know enough to comment on those numbers :YMHUG:

Hi Susan and Lanky,
I don't know what those numbers mean, either, but I'm sure that Libby or someone else knowledgeable will be along to comment. But in the meantime, Lanky, you can come down to some nice blue, OK?

Have a good evening, guys,

Ella & Rusty

Hey Lanky, Party on Friday at Camp Stu. You are requested to attend!!
Your pal,
Rusty

i don't know, but just thinking out loud . . . i wonder what the variability on the tests are.

i also wonder if the IGF has gone down because of the radiation treatment you had for lanky. what did they tell you would be the result of the radiation treatment?

the iaa - i'll look and see if i can find that comment that said that insulin resistance would increase with acro.

do you have continued contact with the folks at CSU? i wonder if they could comment on the test results.
