Good afternoon and HAPPY FRIDAY LL!!!! Sending prayers to all who need them today.

LBG was so excited this morning!!! There were squirrels AND lizards in the courtyard so she got to watch both from one station instead of running back and forth from the catio to the back windows!!! She was mesmerized as the two baby ground squirrels frolicked and chased the lizard. But then....da da da da....the dreaded Lupita arrived :o      When Lupita is here, Gracie stays in a supervisory location....just out of touch but watching her every move as if to say hey...you missed a spot!!!! I'm telling mama!!! Ever on guard, prepared to hisssssssss softly if required.

Gracie cleared her little bounce yesterday. I hate testing her so often but when she clears a bounce, she sometimes becomes quite the drama queen plus we needed to run out and we never leave without testing first and testing when we get home. She and I had a bit of a pj party last night. She was pretty much green all night as I consider 102 and 101 to be a lighter shade of     Mike had to be up early this morning so he did the T/F/S and I got to sleep in ....OMG...how wonderful!!

Gussie's vet visit went well yesterday. He has lost 5 ounces   but he's eating up a storm so we can't figure that out. Everything tested as a 10 and Dr. B thought he was doing great.

I have to run out to work quickly....I hope. Mike is here with the kittens so I'll check back in later. Have a great day.

Only want good reports for Gus.
Gracie is having such nice greens..... squirrel watching must bring some good numbers....

Evening all DH here. Marje wanted me to pass along how sorry she is to have been missing this afternoon. She had to go out to her office for a couple of hours, then the battery on her truck bit the dust. She got a jump and is still at Sears getting the battery replaced. The hot weather here is hard on car batteries, and patience pants.

Great day for Missy G. She did sneak in a 48 early this afternoon but came right up and had a nice surf the rest of the way. Tobes and Gus had a nice sleep filled afternoon.

One of our baby hummingbirds left the nest this afternoon and has been flying around the back patio with Momma in close attendance. Pictures to follow.

Squirrels and lizards and Lupita! Oh my!
Sounds like Gracie had a good day of, um, supervising all the critters (and Lupita).

I got to sleep in
Really?? What is that like? I haven't slept in since November 11. :YMSIGH: But I've become really good at going BTB on weekends.

I'm glad Gussie has a good appy and had a good vetty visit. I often wonder if an empty or full bladder (and/or, ahem, colon) during weigh-ins can account for weight differences...

I hope you all are having a great evening!

ETA: Oh no! Just read your post, Mike. Hope Marje's evening gets better...

YAY for baby hummingbirds!! I have been watching a barn owl family in a field across the street. One lil baby one fell out and died. Later an adolescent somehow died - found her on the ground. But then, last night I saw what I think was the Mama and remaining baby flying away from the ground! I love springtime!

LBG is looking fantabulous in those wonderful "shades of green!"  Have a great night Mike and Marje (aka "the authorities")!

What a beautiful day for Miss Gracie (minus Lupita!!!  ) Squirrels, lizards, hummingbirds, greens...what more could a cat ask for?! Oh yeah, good fuds and lots of sunbeams. Them too! Sorry to hear about the car battery, but hope the rest of your weekend goes smoothly! Sleep well.
