This is the 6th cycle since the last green nadir and his BG is going in the wrong direction, so unless something changes and the PMPS is lower than the AMPS, we'll be increasing to 12.5 units tonight.

Do some cats never stop bouncing? I hope that's not Chino's fate, but it's hard to imagine he'll ever settle into greens and blues when we're still seeing lots of pink and the occasional red. :(

Neko always bounced, but the height of her bounces got lower. And if I was ata good dose with nadirs in the 70's, the bounces were mostly under renal threshold. But it took one year to get rid of the red, then another for the pink, ...

I have seen some non acro's bounce worse. Dyana's JD bounced into occasional blacks after nine years on insulin.

Off the trampoline Chino!

Thank you, that gives me hope! Chino has only been on insulin for 6 months now.

I had started looking into radioiodine treatment when he got the hyperthyroid diagnosis, but stopped when he was diagnosed with acromegaly, since the SRT could potentially lead to hypothyroidism. In the meantime, it's controlled with methimazole, and he still hasn't figured out that there's a pill inside the "treat" he gets with the first AM and PM meal.
