Yesterday's blue and black day
All is good in Zener's domain today, and he is back showing off his superb sliding skills, coming down to blue mid-cycle this morning from the stratosphere last evening. His mobility is slightly improved following his first acupuncture treatment Wednesday and we have paws crossed this combo of acupuncture with gabapentin will give him some relief. He gets acupuncture treatment #2 on Monday. Our vet likes to do three treatments, one per week, for three weeks before assessing if this modality will be useful. Liz thought she smelled a little Lantus on his fur after the morning shot, but his numbers are looking very much like he got the juice.
Zener is being the master host for our two guests who arrived yesterday. He charmed them right away and spend a nice evening lounging on the back porch being part of our dinner conversation. Tillie is a bit more shy, but she did make an appearance.
MamaLizBean is taking our guests to Sedona today, and for a look at the wildfire aftermath. Night duty bean (that's me) is taking the daytime duty and getting some work done. Tomorrow we will trade off. Liz will do kitty care, after she runs an early AM 10k, and I will be tour guide for our guests.
We will be a bit scarce around LL until Sunday, when our guests depart for Grand Canyon. Hoping everyone has a lovely Friday in LL. :YMHUG:
