Exciting day for Vesta- got to take a fieldtrip to my grandma's house where we were hanging out this evening. She's spent time there before (grammie's a good petsitter! Not since the 'betes, but before it was perfect), so we figured it wouldn't be too stressful on her. She had a good time, except for the 15min drive, of course.

Numbers looked good all day (when we were able to test, of course...). Normally I would have given full on HC when still shooting such a low PMPS, but I figured I'd just not drain the gravy from the LC FF that she eats, and that would compensate. (I usually drain the can before I feed her, saving the gravy for hypo times) Seems like it did the trick :)

I think you did the right thing by not giving HC at PMPS. What you saw was what Lantus is "famous" for -- a flat curve. This is the "shoot low to stay low" phenomenon. Great numbers!!

I do suspect you might have missed a dose reduction given the 55 at +2.
