Yesterday-
Starting off today high, but much better than last night's 400's. I'm going to be out all day at our local Lion's Club's annual auction. Looking to buy stuff that I don't need, to replace the stuff that I didn't need so I got rid of it. Vicious cycle.
But, it makes me feel better that he is starting off higher, so I wont be as worried about him dropping too low while I am out.
Tonight I am meeting with our new pet sitter, so that BF and I can go to my cousin's wedding (overnight) in two weeks. She was recommended by a friend, and sounds like she used to work in a vet's office at one point. She has "shooting " experience. So that makes me feel better. But, I am sure that I am going to be nervous leaving Tennie and his brother overnight for the first time since they both got put on meds.

I'm sure that I will be be asking for "vacation dosing advice" once we get closer to our departure.

We had a vet tech from our former vet's office that would come and shoot for us. She would test punkin's BGs, feed and shoot both of our cats and I think we paid her about $15-20 per visit. She'd also had a diabetic cat of her own. I hope this one works out for you.

Have fun at the auction. I've never been to one, but i *might* watch them on HGTV sometimes. Looks like a blast. I can relate to the stuff issue. I think it's a common cycle.

Ok Tenni, momma gave you a pass to be a little high so she could go have fun...but don't take advantage of it.....why don't you drop on by the yellow floor and see what the kitties are doing there?

Looks like he is starting to come down.
Meeting with the pet sitter went well. She used to work for a local vet and now works at a doctor's office. She has not tested BG on a cat in a while, so I showed her the whole process. As usual, Tennessee purred the whole time I was testing him.
I went over everything with her, but I am planning on leaving detailed notes!

As for the auction, I was pretty well disciplined and only bought one cabinet to use as a pantry while we are renovating our kitchen. My BF on the other hand bought a bunch of stuff, including a kiln! Although I think if will be fun once we learn how to use it.
