Hi again, We had a lovely day of paddling in the St. Regis Canoe Area. Rusty missed us! He ate part of his lunch from his automat, but apparently slept all afternoon and didn't eat his +9 snack until after +10, when we got home. (Stu used to "save" his food too, when we went out; after all, how's a kitty to know when his beans will be back?). In any event, dinner was eaten enthusiastically and Rusty and I had a really nice brushing session and schmooze this evening.

Attached is a photo I took just after we had paddled through a culvert into a lovely pond named Follensby Clear. The guy in the foreground with the headnet is Edward, my DH. The bugs weren't too bad today, but in some spots they were pretty fierce (blackflies and mosquitoes). As you can see, it was a beautiful Adirondack day.

I'm going to try to visit a few condos before I collapse this evening. I hope all is well in LL.

wonderful photo!! what a beautiful place you went to. I am glad too that the bugs were too bad... no wonder you wear headnets. It looks like you had good weather too - what a plus that must have been. :-D :-D :cool: :cool:

Too funny on Rusty saving his food. I remember when you used to write about Stu doing that. What a great memory!

have a restful evening - relax some with Rusty. I hear that the kitties, after helping with some bailing, went hang gliding today. What a life!
 
Hello Dear ones!!! So glad you got out to that glorious looking paddle!! OMG wish I was there!
Such a great life you all have up there-except for the basement, which will correct itself too.
Nice numbers for Mr Rusty--Moonie misses him & is looking forward to seeing him this weekend..
