Hi everyone,

It's been a really tough day so far. First of all, DCIN cannot help Rocky because they are scaling back. It was all set to go that someone would come visit Rocky and evaluate him tomorrow morning, but that is not happening now. I don't really know what I am going to do, and am considering something that doesn't make sense to do to an otherwise perfectly Rocky..

This condo explains it:

The only good thing that happened today is that Rocky's blood glucose is in the green. It looks like it was a kind of a bumpy ride down last night with some big dips in BG so I ended up feeding him small bits of food until 3am.

I didn't have time to post a condo yesterday but I did monitor him all day and all night.

Here is his Rocky's SS from yesterday:
AMPS 182 +1 295 +2 336 +5 326
PMPS 303 +1 335 +2 247 +4 170 +7 155

I keep taking his blood tests and carrying on like this but I can't really do this for much longer. I really need some help, like now, and I am so sad..

i read your other post too, tina. not sure what to say except that i'm sorry you're struggling so much. i don't have any answers for you.

Rocky's looking good - i see green in 7 of the past 8 days. that's an enormous change from a couple of months ago. he's making progress.

Re: 6/6 Rocky PMPS 440

Thanks for stopping by, Julie... yes, Rocky is finally seeing some green, but I still question whether or not this is enough insulin for him. I would hope that he would be staying in green, or at least in blue, for many more hours of the day.

I'm not exactly sure what happened tonight. I had an incredibly hard time getting blood from either of his ears, and yes, I used a new lancet. His ears were not cold. The house is at about 78°F. We're having a stretch of really hot weather here. Anyway, I finally got the tiniest amount of blood after 4 pokes (poor Rocky!), and he was 436. I did another test right away because that is so high, and he was then 440.

He has been eating a lot lately. I feel like I've been feeding him a lot lately to try help him surf, rather than dive. For instance, if he has a 50 or 70 point drop at anywhere in a cycle past +3, I will go ahead and feed him to try and slow down the drop.

I'm not sure what Rocky and I are going to do next.. I really need help with him.
