Good morning, LL!
Ripley seems to be feeling better this morning ~ she had another 'off' evening last night, complete with a not-so-good appy. She's eating her breffis just fine (well, it's 'decorated' with treats, as usual).

I'm going to keep her in the house this afternoon ~ no backyard-time. It's supposed to be warming up even more (110 by Sat :shock: !), and I'm curious to see if she has better evenings when there isn't a possibility of Ripplestiltskin getting over-heated... An experiment...

Also, this afternoon, she's getting a urinalysis done at the vet. Hopefully 5-weeks of Clavamox has cleared up her UTI...

Thanks for the visit last night, Michelle! :-D Can't wait to hear the news about the new bundle of joy!

Morning Josie, glad Ripley is feeling better and also better appy. Sending good Vetty vines for a clearing of the UTI! Good luck on the experiment of Ripplestiltskin. :-D I am always amazed at how much heat Mas can take. I have the heat on on "her" bedroom. Yikes on your heat. We have nice low 70's, but next week will be hot for us.

Nice green Ripley! So glad she is feeling better this morning and that the decorated food worked last night.

Nice start for Ripley, and I'm glad she's feeling better today. I know how worrisome it is when they feel/seem "off"...we just have to remind ourselves that WE have off days for no apparent reason at times, too.

Hi Josie. Nice AMPS for Ripley this morning. Hope the vet visit confirms the UTI is gone and your experiment proves your theory and she has better nights.

I didn't realize the temperature in Sacramento got to 110! Have a great day and stay cool.

I'm glad Ripley is feeling better this morning. I hope the vet says her UTI is cleared up. It will be interesting to see if the heat is affecting her.

Ripley's doing a-ok. She was a little whiny at the vet today, but that's typical. She's on her rocker, cleaning that icky vetty smell off of herself. I'll know urinalysis results tomorrow...

Hi, Ann :-D Thanks for the luck and the vines. Due to our Maggie's and Ripley's anemia, they tend to be a little colder, which is why Ripley's rocker is right next to our wall-unit heater. But I wonder if our hot summer weather changes 'things' up a bit. It's funny that Mags has her 'own' bedroom; my DH recently commented on how our whole home has been devoted to R (stepstools placed in various locations, food bowls, meds, blankies in her fave spots, etc. :lol: ).

Hi, John :-D Thanks for visiting today. We generally have hot summers, typically 90-100+ degrees. 110 is pretty extreme, though. And thankfully it'll be just for a day or so. Good thing I'm a summer girl!

Hi, Carla :-D Thanks ~ me too on R feeling better and hoping for her to be infection-free. But, if I have to keep her on Clavamox longer, it won't be the end of the world. She doesn't mind it at all.
