Yellow - FLAT yellow yesterday.... Mannie's revenge for me being gone all day Saturday. :lol: :lol: I had thought it might break last night, but we only made mid-blues. I told him that too many more of these and up goes the juice. so Mannie?: think blues, think greens. You can do it, yes.... you can! Have a good cycle this morning, OK? cat_pet_icon

The bean overslept this AM. :shock: :o :shock: a whole thirty minutes. :roll: where was my kitty alarm???? :o MIA! :shock: Even the bellowing civvie who is always hollering at the top of the stairs was silent. ohmygod_smile I had to laugh as I rushed up the stairs... all three of them sat there, lined up in a row at the top of the stairs, staring, with that "you're late! :evil: Where are my fuds! :evil: See these claws??? You had better hurry :evil: " look.... so i did. Sheshhhhhh..... 10 minutes later I am getting legs rubs from the lot, collective purrs, mass forgiveness. :lol: :razz: :razz: What a group. Mannie had a great day yesterday. It was so nice here - sunny, warm at 71. He was able to spend most of the day outside - and once again he'd make these periodic return indoors to check on the nanners. :lol: :lol: and use the LB :lol: :lol: Too darn funny..... All is well in MannieLand this morning: fuds = yum!, civvies = whack!, pets = purrs!, nanners = chews, slobbers, hugs! Normalcy.... :cool: :-D :razz: :razz:

sweet story on mannie picking your son. it is amazing how you just have an instant connection with some little ones, isn't it. i think it's like they recognize something in us - like they already knew our souls. but i'm sappy that way! ;-)

Hi Michelle, well it sure looks like all is forgiven with these nice nimbers, and I bet you see some greens, too. I don't think Mannie will ever want to do his business outside :lol: It's just better indoors, he's told Maggie! and besides, you job is to serve him! :lol: I hope you get a walk or hike in today. I hope to get out if Maggie gives permission.

Hey Mannie, sounds like a good idea to help with Rusty's cellar and mountain hand gliding later. We all did love Disney world, too, so I'm ready as soon as we get everyone together, Maggie

Like those blue numbers! I can just picture your kitties sitting there lined up in a row just waiting for you to get them their food. We are such slaves to our kitties! But it is always nice when we get their purrs and rubs. Makes getting up extra early worth it!

Hi Julie - oh I know on the video... I really do need to do that. Every time I get the camera out, and he's tuned in, well - all activity stops. sheshhhh Mannie, I mean - really. :roll: and yes on the instant connection - they both just new. They give you time together in a separate room at this shelter so you can make sure the fit is a good one. Mannie just was in kitty heaven - all over the kid, purrs you could hear in the other room. I can still see the scene. My daughter had gone that day too - she felt this connection with Elsa, our tortie. Elsa had hew paw out of the cage pawing at my daughter, so...we went home with two kitties that day. :razz: :razz: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: I agree - they did, I think recognize something is us. they did, without a doubt, choose us.

Hi Patty - I know.... I really have to stop doing that. :roll: :roll: I dread the day that I don't just wake up, like today, and it's 3 hours after the fact. bad bad bean! and right! It's not my fault kitties! you were negligent in your duties! :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - Yup. I think he has forgiven me - phew! Yellows are nice and all, but shesshhhhh we were sure missing those blues and greens. I hope he has decided that they are cool and groovy again. :cool: :razz: -- and I know on the outdoor LB.... :lol: :lol: I remember the conference call between him and Maggie, the discussion on the need to the indoor LB, and who wants to go outside - that's like playing in your facilities... they decided indoors was the way to go. :lol: :lol: :lol: -- yep on the walk - outside at least while the weather is decent. i really need to tend to the yard too. :roll:

Hi Melissa - it was kinda funny - all three of them - and that stare! :lol: :lol: and it would not surprise me that a plot was in the works. I am happy with the blues, happy too that the weekend is behind us, that he seems to be back on track YAY!

Hi Georgia - I know, I was severely reprimanded for being so late..... :lol: :lol: Oh yes on the slave part. Mannie will eat anything I fed him, but the one civvie, Elsa, look at me after it's been served with that "you're kidding, right?" look. no Elsa, the bean is not kidding, now eat your fuds. sometimes she does,sometimes it's the "no way" abandonment. :lol: :lol: I always cave and reserve her.... SLAVE! yep - they are so worth it.

Zoe's new thing is to walk on the radio and hit the on button 30 minutes BEFORE it is time to get up :shock: :roll: ;-) I reach out, turn it off and tell her to wait - so she sits by the bed and STARES until I get up.Again, gotta love it!

Hey Mannie - I'm ready for bailing and Hang gliding - I've never done that! Sounds fun. We should plan another trip to Disney and get everyone to come - maybe you could drive the bus? ~Zoe

You will love hang gliding - it is SO COOL! You can see everything from wayyyyy uppppp there! I like the DW trip idea - we should do that. The bus will hold us all too, and we gots bunks and fuds and everything - even a plasma tv. :cool: When should we go? Maybe next weekend? ~~ Mannie

Hi Michelle! I haven't been to Mannie's condo in a while so I wanted to make sure that today, I dropped by for a visit. Mannie looks wonderful today. I love it when Gus surfs in that range. It's good for him and lovely for me to see. Your words of encouragement these past couple of weeks have helped more than you'll ever know. Our kitties do their best to switch things up for us, don't they? I appreciate your support and wanted to be sure that you knew it. :-D

Hi Bev - I agree - it is a good range, maybe not be green but it's OK - nice and flat and steady. and nay time - sometimes think we are all in this one big boat, we all are there for one another. Gus has made such progress - so so nice to see. And yes - they sure do like to switch things up. never a dull moment. :-D

I'm glad Mannie got lots of outdoor time yesterday. Hope you got your yardwork done.

Sorry to get to condos so late....I'm taking a break from work so that I can check in with everyone. What a week!!! I've missed all the LL excitement and what all the kitties have been up to. Hope they all had fun hanggliding today. What a life they live! :lol: :lol:

Hi Marje - I know on the oversleep thing... shesshhh - the stares! Thx on our Mannie and Elsa adoption - I can to this day still see the scene. -- Well, got started on the yardwork. There's just alot to do... it's been so wet up to now that nobody wanted to work on it: wet, soggy, muddy: blech! -- no problem on condos - I know how it is - when I was working it was always that way for me. By the time I got on the board it was 8PM - almost everyone had already gone to bed! :lol: :lol:

Hi Michelle, Wonderful story of how Mannie and Elsa came to join your family! And this morning's saga was just perfect. So Mannie had a flat blue day (Rusty may have, too) and all the kitties had fun: bailing in our cellar and hang gliding. Thanks for visiting him. He missed us today.
Our paddle was super (see the pic in Rusty's condo). Tired now, however.

Hi Ella - yep, sure looks like a blue day here... that's ok, sure beat some of the other colors! --- thx - I think Mannie's and Elsa's story of their adoption is great - I've always felt that or kitties pick us - I know for sure that those two did. Mannie was such a charmer. He was 1 year old when we got him, Elsa was 2. --- and I know Rusty missed you!!! He no doubt will stick to you tonight too. So he is off to Camp Stu this weekend? Mannie will be so excited!! and so the summer begins: days at camp stu, paddling, mannie packing his travel to camp stu bag...

Wow, Michelle, those are some FLAT blues! I don't think I've ever had that happen with the numbers that close!

Your morning story with the cats staring at you reminded me of what happened at 4:00am this morning. I had slept on the couch with Tessie all night cause she was riding low, and tested at 2am, then fell asleep. Next thing I knew, I abruptly woke up, Tessie was on the floor in front of me STARING at me. It was time for her 4am snack (which I usually put in the auto feeder before I go to bed), and I swear she was willing me awake. It worked! :lol: :lol: :lol: They are all so darned funny!

Mannie, can I come on the DW bus trip with you guys? I needs to get away from all the pokeys lately! I just needs to be home in time for my 4am snack...Tessie Lou
