yesterday's blues and greens

Happy Caturday to all

After Crystal's exceptional 24 hours of blues and the odd green, we are back to yellow today but she seems well in herself, she's found my comfy armchair and is fast asleep. Good appy.

Well I thought it was going to be a quiet weekend after a couple of busy ones but fate had other plans. Our civie Tiggy was having trouble in the LB this morning trying to pee and nothing happening, after 6 attempts over an hour I thought, time for a vetty visit. Bolly was due his anti-rabies jab in the next few days anyway so thought I would take both of them together. Well Tiggy yowled the whole 30 minute journey, by which time Bolly was a nervous wreck. The vet gave Tiggy some fluids, an AB and an anti-inflammatory for her bladder - she's had a spell of the same thing about a year ago and the hydration seems to sort her out but if she's no better by Monday she has to go back (paws crossed she doesn't have to) Bolly disgraced himself by peeing up the vet's fridge, not once, by twice - I was glad to get home. Then DH tells me that he has invited the neighbours round tonight for a BBQ so I'm now in panic mode rustling up some salads and a dessert when I thought it was an easy dinner les deux - I'm removing the D prefix and he's now just H for the time being!

Oh dear, I am sorry you are having bad luck with Tiggy...poor little thing, she must feel uncomfortable. Hope all the treatments give her relief.
Bolly did disgrace himself .........how hilarious....peeing up the vets frig.....he wouldn't be the first one to do that!
DH is obviously not in favour at the moment....you should make him do the preparations for the meal. Sounds like my DH who told me he had invited his nephew and family, who live in Bali, to stay here when they come out to Australia next month......I don't mind....but I only found out when he was telling the next door neighbour! You have to love them!!!
I am sure it won't be long before Crystal gives you more green and blue numbers

I guess Bolly told the vet what he/she thinks of vetty visits!

Today is probably a bounce (I NEVER believed G knew how to do that!) - but sometimes they have to let you know they weren't 100% comfortable with the lower numbers. She should settle down soon.

I don't blame you....stories like this make me happy I am single and I don't have to worry about having plans being made for me lolol

Thanks Bron, Lu-Ann and Molly for looking in. Nothing much to report on Crystal, still a flat yellow pancake but a happy cat. Neighbours have finally gone home, next door, very enjoyable evening, H is clearing up and doing the dishes, Crystal and I are off to bed, bean had one too many adult beverages and feeling a little squiffy. Sorry not to catch up on condos, but my best wishes to all in L&LL - hope to do better tomorrow!

At least the numbers meant you could ease off testing today. I'm glad the unplanned evening turned out OK.

291 at AMPS, another not so great start to the day. Also Crystal straining in the LB, but managed to produce one very hard pellet. Looks like this is a continuing problem for her. Have been using the Miramax substitute with morning and evening feeds, but will include it with all meals now, plus a little coconut oil this morning. appy okay. Will be out for a couple of hours from +3 but DH here to give her lunch.
Tiggy seems better since vet visit.
