Yesterday

Happy Wednesday, LL! Zener is doing fine. He might have dipped into the lagoon last night or maybe surfed blues. He's not telling. He had breffis in a new place this morning, on his metate. Whatever gets him to eat. :lol: :lol: I think of Lyresa saying that KT likes to choose where he gets his shot as that gives him some control over things. Maybe that's why Zener eats in all of these different places. Our civie Tillie didn't eat much yesterday, but she cleaned the bowls that I left out for Zener for overnight. Fortunately, she did that just before I went to bed so I could refill them. Both kitties slept on the bed last night. :-D :-D

OT: Anne is busy, busy, busy at the wheelchair rugby tournament in Odense, Denmark. She's not in charge of anything, so maybe she will get to bed at a decent hour. She will get adjusted to the time just about when she comes home. :roll:

Nice start for Zener today. And cute little breffis spot! These kitties must have the best time comparing how far they get their beans to run with breffis. I wonder if they have a trophy for "made bean chase me with fuds".
Say "hey" to Anne and I hope she's having a great time...while you're slaving away being BIC :lol:

Zener, I think Shasta was channeling you this morning with her amps. :-D Love his varied eating spots! Shasta varies from the couch to the floor to her window seat!!! :lol: Glad you got lots of snuggles last night. :smile: Hope you guys have a great day and hope Anne gets used to the time difference quickly (one can only hope!!) How long is she over there?

Nice AMPS today Zener! I hadn't never thought about that, the kitties taking control of something. You might be on to something. Our two like "the same old thing" which is nice. They know what to expect and each little thing we do is a cue to them on what happens next. Some might call it boring. :lol: Have a wonderful day Liz!

Oh so close! Appy is not great, cypro is on the menu for dinner. He did eat at little 13% just now.

Melissa - It's very interesting. Lyresa gets credit for the idea of giving control of something to the kitty. Our kitties like routine but they like things to be different some times too.

Nice blue surf for the Z-man today. I'm sure there must be a contest for who can get the beans to chase w/ the fuds dish:
  • a) most number of spots
    b) furthest spot
    c) most inaccessible spot
    d) longest chase

I may have to ask our vet about cypro for Tess too. It has been frustrating lately.

Metate ... I learned a new word today. That is a neat word, I like it. A place for grinding up grains. Tell Z he can eat where he wants, but if he isn't a good boy, he's gonna get a good grinding! :lol:

I hope Anne is having a good time. I've never been to Europe. I need to work on that bucket list.

I feel for you, with his appy . I think seeing kitty not want to eat, is the hardest thing of all. I hope the cypro helps tonight.

Zener's appy is lousy tonight. I gave him some cypro and I'm stalling a bit to get up my nerve before shooting and let the cypro kick in. He's walking around the yard and sniffing so he doesn't feel bad. Ugh.
