Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry guy with all 5 p's and green! :D:D:D Tarragon was in a good mood this morning, talking to anyone who would listen. He is always more talky when he is green.

Vet appt for Charlie today at 1:30. He has had a small cough the last few days and has been panting a lot. One of my BFF's had his sister, Lizzie, and she passed away Christmas Eve from heart enlargement which started with a cough. I am really nervous about it. Hopefully we are able to get some answers and, if that is the issue, we can get on a path of treatment.

Have a great day!

Just got back from the vet. Charlie's heart and lungs sound good. They did a full panel of blood work and we should get results back in a few hours. Probably arthritis related. They gave him cerenia to see if that will help. He started swimming this week so maybe he just overdid it, coupled with 100 degree heat index.

Thank goodness for the good vetty report. I'm you were very worried about it. Sending good BW vines.

Beautiful start today, Tarragon! Got your board shorts on?

The vet just called. Charlie's blood work looks good other than the red blood cell issue we have had since last year. His red blood cells are "shredded" . Last June they were at a 3. Went down to a 1 by September and are back at a 3 today. This is an indication of an enlarged spleen , a tumor, or liver disease but the us last year showed that his spleen and liver were fine and no visible rumors. He is doing a lot better tonight and seems to be resting much better.

It didn't occur to us that Tarragon has NEVER been left home all alone when we left in the car until we got back. Also, the last time one of them left was Turnup. Tarragon was a little freaked out when we walked in the door, waiting right inside the door, and loved all over Charlie for a good 5 minutes. Poor Gon.

Aw, poor Li'l T....our babies are just so sensitive. I'm glad to hear Charlie's BW is looking good, and that he is feeling better this evening. I hope you guys have some R&R planned for the weekend!
