Good morning LL! Back the tbp. Thank you all for visiting last night after I fell asleep.

Sunny yellow today, which is not too bad considering. Tarragon was happy furry purry all night cuddling in bed with us. He layed next to Charlie and watched me get ready this morning, headbutting Charlie the whole time. The hair dryer usually scares T, but today he didn't even notice. 4 p's present this morning, but I'm sure the 5th will be there when I get home.

The cleanup will take awhile, but the trees are all cut and in 36 piles in our backyard. We can only set out 6 bundles each garbage day (twice a week). It really hurts DH's back to tie them up, so he will only do 6 at a time. Very thankful to have power and we didn't lose as much in the fridge as I had feared.

Morning Melissa, I've been thinking of you and family and hoping the weather has calmed down. That had to be so frightening. Not a bad AMPS at all for Tarragon considering the stress of the storm. Wow with the cleanup. So glad you have power back and most frig food and insulin are okay. Hugs and scritches to Mr. T., Turnup and Charlie.

HI Melissa. I was thinking what Ann said. Very nice amps, for Tarragon,after all the commotion.
I'm shocked you got so much dealth with and tidied up already.

I'm glad to hear all is well after such a scary storm. T is looking good, too! It sounds like he wants to be around everyone, whether or not that noisy hairdryer is going. I don't blame him!

Hi guys,
So happy to hear that the storm damage, while extensive, is getting cleaned up and that the stuff in the 'fridge is OK. DH is smart to do only 6 bundles at a time. Can you use that wood for firewood?

Ella - We have saved back the actual wood for firewood. The bundles are mainly the branches with leaves on them. One of the trees we lost was a type of holly tree. It was about 15 feet talls. The branches and leaves are very thick and dense (i.e. very pokey), so those are really difficult to bundle up into "appropriate size" bundles for the trash.

Morning melissa - oh my on yesterday - I am sorry I missed it. I am glad that all are OK there. What a relief. Sorry for the tree loss - hope the cleanup isn't too bad. Nice that you didn't loose much in the fridge.

Considering yesterday Tarragon's amps is darn good. Surf well little man.

I hope you have a good day - sorry for tbp, but hope it is good.

Hi guys .. I'm sorry I missed yesterdays post as well .. glad to hear you guys are ok, and that clean up is moving along .. I hope the rest of the bundles don't bother your DH much .. tarragon, I bet you weren't scared of the silly ol' blow dryer cause you were by your buddy charlie :-D have a great day guys!

(((Melissa))) Glad that all you lost were the trees....things could have been so much worse, right? thankfully, you are all okay....clean up always takes so long...the destruction is so much quicker. Thinking of you all and hoping you all get back to normal real soon...Hugs!

That's exactly what I was thinking! :o A gustnado is very scary!!

Glad your power is back on. I'm such a cranky pants when our power goes out for even one minute.
I still remember last April being without power for 8.5 days. That was just awful for such a spoiled girl like me. :lol:

I'm so amazed you have so much accomplished clean up wise already. Our thoughts are still with you all.
