Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty may have hosted a pj party last night after his 62 at +4.5, but his mamabean was too tired to wake up and test him. He slept all night on the bed, as usual, and this morning had a good test, shot (fat 0.75), and 3 sittings of breakfast. We'll go outside after I finish with the cellar.

My bike ride on Grande Isle (in Lake Champlain) was beautiful, but it was sad to see all the destruction to the shoreline by the floods of the past few weeks. The bike path on the old railroad causeway (which goes across the lake to the mainland, not far from Burlington, VT) is totally washed out and will probably never be rebuilt. We were able to ride out a little way, but then had to leave our bikes and walk: great chunks of the causeway are gone. The lake is still very high, but it was a calm day and safe to go out there into the lake.

The kitties had a grand time at Cedric's OTJ party and then the after-party at Disney World.

Everyone enjoy today. Healing vines to Barb and to all kitties who can use some,

Ella & Rusty

Oh my, you're right as stated in Maggie's condo. They are about the same today. We better have a talk with them to slow down. Have a nice Sunday.

Very nice AMPS and a green surf for Rusty! Sorry to hear about all the destruction from the flooding...it is amazing the damage water can do.

Thanks for stopping by Zoe's condo and for your advice about Lantus....I keep mine on the top shelf of the refrigerator....seems to be OK there. I just checked, no cloudiness and no floaties.....so I will continue to use it for a few more days and see how she does.... ;-)

when you say "finish with the cellar" do you mean really finish? like the disaster is almost cleaned up? if so, yay yay and yay! that's been a huge mess, hasn't it.

hope you get out for a bit of fun and don't have to work all day!

Alas, "finish with the cellar" does not mean "finished" with the cellar!! It means that I was going to finish up the morning mopping and shop-vacing. But the flow of water is beginning to slow down, at least a little and at least until we have another heavy rain.

Rusty had a nice time outdoors this morning, surveying the garden. His numbers are very good and I hope he continues his green surf. Right now he's taking his usual afternoon "down time".

Back later, DH and I had a good 2.5-mile racewalk this morning. I'm trying to get back into "my sport" (used to racewalk competitively)

Wow....what awesome numbers for Rusty!!!! So glad to see him in these lovely greens. I bet he's loving it outdoors.

I'm glad you got in your bike/walk but so sad about the causeway and the destruction. I hope the cellar problem will soon be resolved with no more rains coming your way until you get it all dried out and dewatered.

Have a lovely day Edward and Ella....and darling Rusty!

Offering a trade... I've got a trade to propose... I'll put in an hour in your cellar for every 10 boxes you pack for me. Sound good?

What a wonderful day for Rusty - really nice numbers. I love it when I miss nighttime PJ parties   Sometimes these kitties hold their own, and do just fine. Looking good Rusty!

I am sorry to hear about the bike causeway - I had hoped that maybe it could be rebuilt. Maybe through a private benefactor? or is the area to far gone to rebuild? well, we see alot of that here too. - trail issues for us, and maybe it is the same there - but the hoops that we have to go through to have things redone is horrific, not to mention the expense. So sad. I am glad though that you did have a good ride yesterday.

have a great night! :-D
