Yesterday Neko had a rather short lived day bounce and got down to blue again in the night.

The battle against the long haired shedding season continues. Is June over yet? :roll: Neko doesn't usually stay still for the whole body's worth of combing, especially when the civie comes up to investigate. :evil: Got between the front legs today - yeah! Just gotta get the pants, then we can start all over again.

Neko's been a very active participant in dinner preparation of late. She hops on the kitchen stool and races across the counter to where I'm putting food together, trying to convince me to work faster. And perhaps to see if she can scarf something early. I usually put her back down on the floor, but she must have springs in her legs, because she's back looking over my shoulder in no time. :lol: :lol:

OT: Sunny day, back for more painting, exterior house cleaning today. This bean is exhausted. We did 6 hard race pieces this morning. Fantastic water, and a seal was following our boat for most of the trip. :cool:

Funny, jumping on the counter demanding early scarfs! Luckily none of ours jump on the counter - it's a no-no. Leo only tried once in my apartment and I blocked up - he slid back down with the funniest confused look on his face, and never did it again! (That I know of :-D )

Most cats if you look at just the AMPS and PMPS in yellow, you'd expect a visit to blue during the day. Not my Neko! Ah well, normalcy continues with Neko's cycles. She's out for an after dinner walk, probably looking for moths.

@Rex - Nice day for Neko yesterday but she went the wrong way again today. :roll: Definitely a good workout on the water today.

@Lisa - Jumping on the counter is a no-no here too, but Neko especially doesn't pay attention. I put her down and she's up right away. :roll: She used to be really bad before her SRT treatment started working. I haven't caught her in the sink licking the sides for a while (antijinx). Those extra growth hormones made her hungry like a teenager, and she paid about as much attention to me. :lol:

@Rhiannon - Hmm, the pic has a rainbow, how appropriate. :lol: She just once managed to swipe some of Theo's food on the counter a couple of months ago and hasn't forgotten.

Predictably predictable. Jumping on the counter does burn a few BGs. :roll: :lol: Very cool with the seal, probably just a little stroll for her. :lol:

I knew there was something else I wanted to comment on.... and flubbed.

The seal sounds really cool.
I'd be watching that instead of rowing..... :cool:

Slow slide shaping up. Hoping she continues down nice and gently.

@Liz - I think Neko get's her best exercise with the counter surfing and the fuds dance. :lol: Lot's of seals where we row, but it cool to see them up close.

@Rhiannon - You can kayak too and see seals. Easier to do to. :lol: It's a neat way to entertain visitors not used to water sports.
 
Oh wow seals! That must be cool to see those in the water.

My other cat Brownie has been on the counter before but she doesn't do that recently thankfully. Cain can't jump up there. Though he'll happily steal my chair or sleep on my bed. And Brownie has been shedding up a storm. She's definitely less fluffier lately. I was worried when I saw her pulling out fur but I realized it was June and it's getting humid and hot here.
