Gracie's Yesterday

Happy Fursday!!! Sending many healing vines to Sasha, Lucy, Buster, and prayers for Ruth's DH for a full recovery.
Our little monkey bean (aka Gracie) is giving me the sad face as she does her typical "lying on her back under the fan in the office" pose. We spend the mornings on the catio until about 10:30 and then it's too hot and I make her come in. She follows me into the office. She sits down and then rolls back into a lying position. She is the funniest cat ever because she does something akin to forward and backward somersaults. The forward ones are when she wants to headbutt me and we're on the bed; she puts her head down and then keeps rolling forward. The backward ones are when she's sitting in a SF buttsit and she just rolls back on her back. Tobey does not do either of these but he has his own very adorable poses that are unique to him.
We never figured out where that crazy yellow number came from yesterday. Absorption issue? Noisy contractors next door? Wednesday in China? Who knows but glad to see she is back to this beautiful flatness and she's doing much better at surfing with no food anti-jinx.
I had meetings yesterday and when I went to get into my car, the inside temp was 114 degrees!! Hot hot hot here but I feel more for Tara because it's always hotter in Phx than Tucson. I think we are going to spend copious amounts of time in the pool today under the guise of scrubbing the tile. Yes...it's that time again.
