Yesterday's Condo

Well, that was an interesting cycle last night. Todays was less so, but I guess a lagoon drive by and mosty low blue isn't anything to complain about. DH hasn't gotten around to making the new litter box yet, and just after scooping the current ones I was thinking to myself how well Cinco was doing with this setup. Then he comes in and heads for the big box, but is stalled when his collar catches on the corner of the box, so he proceeds to pee all over the floor.

Minka CPCd her breakfast, and ate seconds. Then she ate a nice sized snack with fluids. THEN, she CPCd dinner and seconds!!!

Nobody pinch me, please. I don't want to wake up from this dream!! We are wondering if it has to do with the fact that this is the longest she's gone after a chemo treatment yet? ANTI-JINX!!!

The others all ate well today, too, although Cinco still has a little bit of summer appy. Nothing the addition of either Forti Flora or FD salmon can't handle.

I made the drive over to Antioch, CA, where there is a vet clinic that carries the Cover Me clothes for dogs. I got one for Cinco, but haven't tried it on him yet. It was pretty warm today and the house was so stuffy. I thought I would wait for it to cool off a little more. Paws crossed it works and we can lose the collar.

OT: Elise, my hair is very fine and there isn't much of it. I had perms for years and they really did a number on my hair. My current hair stylist forbade me from getting another and came up with a hairstyle I like that makes me look like I have more hair. It's been a few years and the icky stuff has all grown out, so she agreed to do a body wave. So it's not curl I want, really - it's volume.

Well, time to think about getting dinner started hope you are all enjoying your Friday evening.

Cinco continues to impress with with his numbers. You absolutely need to get a pic of Cinco if you get those coveralls on him. They look adorable.

Wow...2 days in a row for the CPC club for Minka? That's GREAT!! Hopefully she'll continue to eat well and gain a little weight so that takes a little worry off your shoulders

Gotta see Cinco in that outfit (if you get him into it....LOL)
 
Good find on the Cover me! I hope it works for Cinco. Great new on Minka's appy returning. Ibet it feels great to have had a chance to get your hair done.

Thanks for stopping by, Liz, Wendy, Rhiannon, Chris, Ann and Marje. Cinco is poised on the edge of the lagoon. Any kitty that wants to sneak up behind him and give him a little nudge gets an extra hot dog on me!

So I got the outfit, and it is cute. I chose medium based on his neck to tail measurement, and it was too big! :( They said I could exchange it if it didn't fit, so I guess I'll be making the 40 minute drive to Antioch again tomorrow.
He was not pleased with my making him try it on, but there was no blood lost. :rolleyes: I will for sure get a picture if the size small fits him!!!

We had tuna casserole for dinner, which meant I had kitties under foot as soon as I started opening cans (although Harvey was there as soon as the cans came out of the pantry - I have no idea how he knows!). They do love their tuna water. I think you should be able to buy a can of just tuna water. Or maybe I just need to eat more tuna. :joyful:

It did feel wonderful to get my hair done. I'm not exactly supposed to look a lot better right now, since only half of the job is done, but honestly, I really like the look of the body and volume of my hair right now. I'm sure I'll like it better when the gray is gone. ;)
 
Cinco, you need to take a dip in tge lagoon and get Max out of the deep end. He is getting too close to the sharks and you are almost close enough to drag him out.

Yay for CPC for Minka! Cinco is looking good. I hope the small size will fit him. Poor kitty trying to get to the lb and not being able to.
 
Yay for happy appies and a nice surf! Bummer Cinco's new outfit was too big, but hopefully the smaller one will do the trick. Keep eating, girls! And eat more, Cinco....summer appies makes us beans nervous!
