I'm sooo late getting Champ's condo opened!!!! I got up this morning to find Champ sleeping in his cubes. He's such a cutie!!! He no longer seems driven by food anymore. Maybe because I've been having to feed him spoonfuls here and spoonfuls there to bring up his BGs, he's just not so hungry anymore. Once I put him in front of his food, though, he does eat so I'm not concerned yet.

Well, Champ earned his third reduction yesterday in his AM cycle!!! Now it looks like he's going through a bounce right now....hopefully he'll clear it as fast as usual.

Right now he's curled up next to me on the couch, his swishin tail tapping me on the leg, showing me he loves me because he wants to share my space. And then my daughter comes in the room and calls me a fartcicle. She's a class act, that one!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Just wanted to mention. My mother has been admitted to the hospital, again. She has a blood clot in a vein that hasn't wanted to dissolve and it's caused the veins in that leg to start to break down and her leg to swell uncontrollably. The doctors are trying to come up with a solution that won't cause the blood clot to dislodge and possibly kill her and she certainly doesn't want to have her leg amputated. It's all just such a mess. Any prayers for my mom, and my poor dad who is worried sick about her, would be greatly appreciated!!

Oh wow, that is scary with your Mom. I hope the doctors can control it and find a treatment. Prayers and healing vines for your Mom and you and your Dad. I hope it won't be necessary to have her leg amputated. Good luck with the new dose for Champ.

Patty: glad to see you....I was looking for your condo earlier. Congrats on the reduction and I think Champ may have more in store later today with these flat yellows!!!

Sending mega healing vines to your mom and prayers for your mom and dad. Please keep us posted. I know how worried you are. (((Patty)))

Oh Patty, so sorry to hear about your momma. It must be so hard not being able to be there with her, i'm hoping that she'll get better soon.

Great news about Champ's reductions! Atta boy Champ!

That is terrible about your mom Patty! Hope they get it figured out soon!!

Well, it certainly does look like Champ is taking a break from the low numbers and giving his mama a break. Thank you, Champ! Now tomorrow he better get back on track!! I like the flat yellow curve, though, and he really seems to feel especially Champish with these numbers. His appetite is normal, he's visiting with me more, and not closing himself up in my daughter' room and sleeping all the time like with the lower numbers. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds.

It's nice to see him clearing the bounce, Patty. I bet you wish he had waited until morning, though! ;-)

I have to get some sleep....I hope you get some too! Sending prayers for your mom and dad....
