Yesterday's Condo
Willie is all bright-eyed and bushy tailed this morning, though with all the grooming we've been doing to rid him of his winter coat, there is far less furry in the furry purry today! I just caught him doing something that I have suspected for awhile he's been up to... I had set down his BG monitor with the strip ready to go on his pink sweater while I looked for his pokestick, and he casually walked over and laid down on top of it (AND his brush and my phone in the process!)! :roll: :roll: I had to laugh because he was being sooooo nonchalant about it! Loving these numbers this morning... even after shooting late last night! I'll be around today, so we'll be getting in lots of pokes to see if we're headed for a dosecrease.
We tossed Willie's fur out to the birds, but as of yet, there are no takers. Though, in fairness, the birds do seem to be in the middle of their morning business, so perhaps they will get to it later. There is quite a breeze today, and some of the smaller bits were catching in the wind. So, if you see a tuft of grey and white fur go floating by in the air, Willie says hi!! :lol: I do hope that they pick it up soon, or Willie's pride might be wounded. I mean, it's bad enough that the birds scare him... they were squawking so much this morning that he declined breakfast on the patio! :shock: Refusing his fur remnants might be too much for him!! Though, I'm enjoying the idea of a bird version of MTV Cribs.... "Yo yo, BTV!! Come on in and check out my nest!! I gots it tricked out with this killer wall-to-wall grey and white catmere rug...."
It is quite the morning in the neighborhood... the birds, squirrels and even a bunny rabbit all munching away. If they spontaneously break into song, I'll know this is just a dream... and will fill in my real condo when I'm awake! :lol: :lol: :lol:
