I won't be around much today, I just want to get something up and running.. I have no idea what to do about Tommy and his dose right now.. I ended up shooting last night because of the numbers and figured i could just back it down until i get back on schedule. I had planned on dosing a half hour early this morning but as you can see we've had almost a 100pt drop in 1hr..
I went to test for ketones shortly after that and he is having problems peeing again, only little drops and there was blood again in his urine and he threw up some early this morning..

Charlie is not walking well at all and he's having trouble eating and standing for any length of time. He also won't stop panting. I have not given any more tramadol to him as I think it is not agreeing with him some how.. I just don't know. But I am a wreck this morning.. I have a call into my vet and have given all the problems with both Tommy and Charlie and am just waiting to hear back. I'm hoping to be able to give Charlie Bupe maybe for the pain and hopefully it will calm him down so he can at least rest and heal..
Maybe he's still having some soreness from her poking a pulling on his leg on Thursday..
Please forgive me once again, as i may not be able to get to condos today..
Would you also say a little prayer for Tommy and Charlie that they be ok.. Charlie just can't go anywhere, it's not time.............

Re: 6/4 Tommy +10 350, +11 266

Healing thoughts and prayers for Charlie and Tommy. I hope the vet gets back to you quickly with some answers or at least suggestions on home to make them both feel better...which help you feel better, too. Hugs to you....

Squirrel, you have to know we're all here for you. I'm sending prayers to you and your animals that they feel better and you have the strength to get through this. Stay strong and don't worry about condos. Just take care of your household. Thinking of you!!

The vet did call back and had some suggestions for both Charlie and Tommy and i wrote it all down so i don't forget.. I'm going to make some rice for Charlie and give his aspirin and 1/2 a tramadol to see if that will take the agitation from him and still help and follow up with the same this evening if it seems too..
She suggested that I keep an eye on Tommy and make sure that he is peeing at least some and told me how to check his bladder to see if it's soft or hard. I have the on call vet's number and will do what needs to be done if something happens that i can't take care of.

Sherry thank you for the healing thoughts and prayers. I do feel a bit better since talking with her. She does wonders at explaining things so that i can understand.. Hugs back to you.....

so glad you got some pro support! awesome. you've kinda gotten hit hard with all your furkids - i trust things will settle down in a good way.

hugs & prayers. have a good day.

Squirrel, I'm so sorry to hear this about Tommy and Charlie. Great that you got thru your wonderful Vet, and now you have these options with both pets. Don't worry about condos; just take care of your pets and you, too! Prayers and healing vines on the way. Hugs.

Sending many healing vines and white light to Tommy and Charlie. Please keep us posted when you have the chance...we know you have your hands full right now but just know we are thinking of you all.
