Good morning LL!

Happy furry purry guy with all 5 p's. Tarragon slept with his beans again all night. Looking forward to a hot weekend with lots of chores going on around the house. That should make T a happy kitty, other than the heat.

He has been spending more time outside with us. There is a huge issue with ticks and mosquitoes because of all the rain. We have never used tick/flea remover on him before. Does anyone have any recommendations for brand/type?

I'm jealous of your heat! It is way too cold here these days...barely hitting 60, damp and cold.

I don't have any flea/tick med experience (or rather, it has been a LONG time, so my experience isn't current). Those meds do scare me a bit. The one thing I DO know - and you probably know this, too - is to stay far, far away from Hartz. Hartz flea meds have killed many animals. I would definitely do some researching on the other options, too, to be sure you've got the safest one for T.

Wow, nice and warm and toasty there. We are due for some warm this weekend, should be really nice! I guess summer is on its way.

Nice BG today Tarragon. You surf well today. as far as flea and tick control, I have used Revolution, it is one of those that is applied to the neck area and it is good to go for a month. I've never had an issue with it, as far as any reaction from any of the kitties, and it does a good job of controlling fleas. We have been flea free here for some time. I have stopped recently though, within the past year, as Bug and Lola do not go out, well so far anyways, and Elsa's visits are minimal.

I'm sure Tarragon will love helping you this weekend. I know you have to be careful with flea/tick meds, but I use Advantage II for my cats. It is a once a month topical that you put on the back of the neck. I've never had any problems with it. I use it during the warmer months. I don't like having to use anything, so I don't use it during fall and winter.
