6/3 Shasta

Maybe I'll get a little more sewing done today...

WCR: All Ps in place...although the preening and purring are on the weaker side and the poo is on the smaller side. I imagine she's a little backed up after her anal sac expression last Friday. I have been giving her coconut oil to help move things through, but may try to pick up some canned pumpkin while I'm at the store. Question: Canned pumpkin meaning for adult consumption, right? versus baby food?
She ate her breffis with only a little encouraging and chasing...much better than the past few days. I did not add the zobaline to her breffis, but I did add it to her Turkey & Giblet snack and so far, she's been good about eating. She's still a little moody, but she still has her spunk when we play. She and Gracie must have been talking because she was doing somersaults while we were just playing. I think she may have hurt herself after flipped into her carrier! :shock: :lol:

WHR: Doing ok. I need to get out of here and start running my errands before the rain gets here! Hoping I can find a pharmacy that will sell me single Lantus pens.

Wow - looks like a good day brewing for Shasta. Such a nice shade of blue. No clue on the pumpkin.. I have read somewhere here on the Board too about some beans also using BFood Squash. ?? Wish I could remember who.... Good job on the appy Shadow - keep on eating those fuds.

Love the flips. she and Gracie must be in cahoots together. :lol:

Thanks, Michelle! I do add squash to her dinner, but I thought about switching it up because I'm afraid she's getting bored with the same ole, same ole! I guess I should do a search on the board, but I'm too lazy!!!

Oh my goodness, I can't wait until I have time to upload these photos tonight. She is draped across my lap right now, but she's half on and half off and she looks so uncomfortable; yet she's done this several times lately and doesn't seem to mind!!! This is hilarious!

Yes....canned pumpkin as in for people but be sure you do not pick up the pumpkin pie filling by mistake

Thanks Marje!!! I remembered something about steering clear of the pie filling, but I couldn't remember if this was baby food or not. Thanks! In other news, my pharmacy that supplies Shasta's compound medicine sells individual Lantus pens and the coupon went through!!! Holler!!!!!! I was just singing with Michael Buble about it being a beautiful day and it turns out to be true!!! dancing_cat

That's good Shasta was eating better this morning. Woo hoo on finding the single Lantus pen and getting to use the coupon! Good luck if you get the pumpkin for Shasta. I've used it for Furball when she's had loose poo and it helps settle her tummy.

It's really late and I'm WAYYYYY past my bedtime (2am here). I've been sewing and was determined to finish all 3 pet beds. Then I remembered that the bug guy is coming in the morning and I needed to pick up around the house (summer craft disaster area!) so that he can get to most all of the base boards! :shock: Shasta's been sleeping and snoring the entire time with the occasional break for a snack or a poke! Goodness, can that girl snore! :lol: Ok, off to shower and sleep for a few hours before amps. Good night! Hope you all had a wonderful day and evening. Sweet dreams! I-)

p.s. I'm not sure I can remember a time she's hung out in the blues like this! I wonder if the anal sac expressing helped this much. I didn't want to start the new Lantus for a few days because I will be in and out so much until about Friday...so this is still the old stuff...same vial for over a year now. (I know...I should have discarded a long time ago...) I will totally expect a bounce tomorrow.
