WCR: Most Ps in place. Appy is ok this morning. Got some snuggles last night and this morning at back to bed time. Last night, I was getting worried that she had only peed once and no poop. Right before bed, she spent a little time in the LB. When she was finished, I went looking for her and found her laying in "her" room (room w/ LB, window perch, cat condo), but she was laying in a weird place...where she doesn't usually lay down. When I talked to her, she started talking back but sounded a bit upset. I went to clean her LB (both pee & smelly poop) and before I could clean, she crawled back in the LB and peed again. ???? 2 pees within 5 minutes of each other. hmmmm...I started cleaning them out and she jumped back in and finished her poop...jumped out and ran. I was less concerned about the 2 poops back to back, it's the 2 pees back to back that seems strange. Both were decent size. I don't know if this is indicative of something like pancreatitis or a UTI or something worse. Any thoughts?
OT: The kitty that I've been checking on seems to be getting better. I stopped by the house yesterday to get a BG check and she was down to 208 and she had just been eating. Grandmother said Sugar was friskier and much more kitten like....like getting into the trash can because she smelled the PureBites bag and keeping grandmother up at night because curiosity is a cat thing!
So here is her progress:
Friday, May 29th - 1st reading: HI; 2nd reading: 598
Sunday, May 31st - 387
Wednesday, June 3rd - 208
The only thing we've changed is her food. No more dry; only low carb FF Classics...and PureBite Chicken as a treat. Needless to say, grandmother is ecstatic about the results!
