Yesterday: a big dive, reduction earned, and BCS https://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB...1-5-55-2-51-2-5-49-3-5-50-4-5-54-6-37.248169/

Busy night.... despite the BCS, Oberon still isn't really coming up. Usually after a BCS he starts to bounce up around +4 or so. We're seeing higher greens now, but not a big jump up. The plan was to start him on a vacation dose of 5.5 U this morning instead of the earned reduction to 6 U. I'm wondering whether I ought to consider something lower to further drain the depot. Seems like the antibodies are going on vacation too! Any thoughts? @Wendy&Neko (I know you're not up yet, but just in case), @Bandit's Mom

No worries! I was just trying to work out in advance what to do if he was still in the greens at preshot. He took care of that for me. (And if time spent in low numbers is associated with the magnitude of the bounce, this one's going to be epic...)

Whoops, yep, AMPS. Need More Caffeine. :coffee::coffee::coffee:

OK... coming up a bit (93 at about +10), so I can leave him alone until PMPS. Really nice cycle, overall, but after that BCS it should have been a big bounce. Not sure what this means about the depot or the current dose... do I stick with 5.5 U?

Morning data: +11 82, AMPS 104, +1 136, +5 117, +7 66, +7.75 60, +8.5 59, +9.75 93

Another nice cycle so far, but I don't trust him, so I think I'm going to be up a while longer.

The larger depot can take up to 6 cycles to stop influencing cycles after a reduction. On a day like yesterday, when it was really hard to keep him away from the 30's, that's an indication of a very overfull depot. I would have done half dose BCS at most, or perhaps skip. I'm hoping those nadirs will keep coming up as the cycles pass.
