Actually, we don't call this a "feed test." Last night, you began Day1 of an OTJ Trial.

AM reading = 67
Ate a good LC breakfast.

Came home at noon...

+6 = 51 OH MY!!

She sought out food on her own. Hopefully she's learning to self regulate. Hope I didn't miss a lower number...her nadir was around +3.

Ummmm....it really doesn't matter if Jez goes lower. You're not shooting any insulin so nothing can happen!

Debie - Don't forget the Day # too. :-D Always nice to see which day it is ;-) Webber's Trial read: "6/4 AMBG 65/PMBG 77 OTJ Trial Day 1"

Some people like to call it "Gum Trial" too. It's like an *antijinx* :lol:
 
Love it...gum trial. She's doing great...just when she drops she has to be 'reminded to eat.

Actually you don't have to force her to eat because there is really no 'momentum' behind her drops, just her body reacting as it should. Yay!! And if you don't like to test much....some of us are testaholics and some really don't like to test....when you are on the OTJ Trial you only really have to test the AM and PM BG's dancing_cat dancing_cat

Great first day you two. AND you can feed whenever you want. No holding back food 2 hours prior to test time (because she isn't getting any shots). Don't you love it?! First day down and 13 more to go. Or is it 12......since she started last night. Hmmm we need to decide right?
 
If you check Jez's spreadsheet....I am a testaholic. I can't even imagine what I would be like if it was my child....
She is doing well...and I am resisting the need to test so much... I was just shocked when I came home for lunch ... and
yes... I tested her.... and she was 51!
But... I'm stepping away and just encouraging her to eat more frequently..

Thanks so much for everyone's advice, guidance, and encouragement...it has been so reassuring!
