OhMyCodfish! Disco just confounds me!

He started out at the beach this morning and by noon was almost dipping his paws in the lagoon…

I thought it might be safe to go on a short 2 hour river float with my family, from a city 6 miles away and float to my mom’s house.

But just to be safe, I took him over to my mom’s house with all his test strips and foods and thought if I can test him and he still good and she can feed him one hour after I leave some high carb food by the time I get back I can test him again. But no, 30 minutes before we were supposed to leave he dropped to 59!

I was able to get him back up to 80 with carbs (oh, he helped himself to a tablespoon of my mom’s dogs i/d low fat kibble which made him jump from 67 to 80). Because he’d just had a reducie, the #’s drop really surprised me, but there’s probably an explanation somecat can give me!
