6/30 Trixie PMBG 121

Oh, Trix loves to keep me on the edge of my seat here with these "PS" numbers! Mr P was happy to be fed this morning and she headed back to the lagoon. Mr P, if you get yourself in line, we can cut back on the pokey tests!! (Who am I kidding??? I'm nervous to stop testing since her OTJ circumstances didn't follow the traditional path.)

Staycation is officially fully here and we are off to an excellent start...Trix's morning gelcap went down on the second attempt, she had such an awesome first breffis that we could skip her early morning assist feeding syringe, and Petey is definitely back on track.

Trix's second breffis after my BTB wasn't as impressive as her first, but it was nothing to shake a stick at either. She wasn't thrilled with the binder in her second breffis, although she didn't mind the binder in her first breffis. Go figure. With her second breffis, I presented "binder-ed" plate and her thought on that was "meh", and she walked off after a few licks. I made a second plate - same can but no binder - and she ate much more enthusiastically. I dunno....enough to make a bean crazy!

And that's really all there is to report from here today....

Now hopefully the real R&R can begin. We'll be doing some stuff around the house, some relaxing, some eating out, some catching up on condos. Fortunately, this is how both DH and I enjoy spending our vacations. We're both homebodies, and we're both so worn out from daily life that we don't have much drive or desire to run all over creation during our time off.

Trixie does like to make you wonder but has been recovering from her PSs so well. Good girl. Ha on the second breffis. Would you expect anything less from her? Sounds like a perfect vacation to me. Lots of together time and doing what you want when you want. Yep. Perfect. Have a great day Amy!

Woohoo! Staycation is here! :-D :-D Glad to hear Trix and Petey are eating better today. You wouldn't expect Trix to take it easy on you, would you, Amy? :lol: :lol: Are you done with the remodeling that you would working on before?

Our kitties do like to drive us crazy with their eating. I'm glad Trixie finally ate for you. Enjoy your staycation.

:lol: :lol: :lol: ....oh, I wish. Things like that take a lot of time around here these days. I had wanted to get it done by spring, but let's just say....maybe it'll be done by spring 2016 :roll: . The sheet rock is up and done, but that's about it....still needs lights, ceiling, floor, mantel, trim, door....ugh. Since it's a basement project, we're not focusing too much energy on it during the summer months, when it's nice and warm and sunny outside. We certainly have plenty of other projects to keep us busy, too...but in all seriousness, I really do hope to get the basement project done before NEXT spring. I don't know if that is realistic, but it's what I hope.

Won't it be nice to have a staycation and not need to worry about pj parties? You can even go to a movie plus lunch or dinner without worries. Well, maybe not totally without worries. I guess that will take some time getting used to after so long. Enjoy!!

A staycation is perfect when you have kitties with special needs - you don't have to find someone to take care of them, and then worry the whole time you're gone that they're okay. Sound like a great way for you and DH to relax and recharge. Plus you get to play with the kitties and snuggle with the kitties and hover over the kitties (hmmm, not so good on that last one. :lol: )!

I'm glad Trixie is eating well but still being feisty, and YAY for Petey being back to normal!!!

Today I decided to stop by and see how kitties are doing in LL. Glad to hear that Trixie is doing fine :-D.

Day 1 of staycation has been nice...a little beading, a little relaxing, a little housework. Housework isn't fun...but it IS nice to be able to do it at a leisurely rate.

I have been trying to update Trix's SS all day and have been having nothing but problems with it crapping out. It'll hold that "working..." message for a long time, then finally tell me it can't save my changes. I've rebooted a couple times and I'm still having problems. Is it just me, or is anyone else having issues with their SS?? I'm getting frustrated now!

ETA...no sooner did I post this that the stupid SS started working! Weird.
 
I have been having problems with Spot's spread sheet for a while now....same "working" and then doesn't update.
Enjoy your staycation! Sometimes those are the best. Nice to have a list of things to do and be able to do them when you feel like it

Awesome day for Trixie!! WooHOO! :mrgreen: aiyee on the fuds, and the binder, Loves it one moment, not the next. cats! enough to drive one crazy. ;-)

YAY on Petey!

And a for sure weird on the SS issues. I obviously haven't had to update one in a while, but interestingly enough have had similar issues with other 'puter related things.... weird.
