Wyoming was so wet last year and that added to the dry fuel this year. My sister and bro-in-law live near Laramie Peak where the Arapahoe fire is out of control right now and 100% uncontained. So far they are still at home. It's staying away from their B&B.

This new dust bowl era may turn even larger chunks of the country into a desert.

We need a big pattern change after the hottest entire year on record, I believe for a good part of the country.
