Hi Everyone,

We are back home. The weather for the rest of the week sounded awful (hot, humid, thunderstorms) and the guests at the motel next to our camp are extremely noisy and will be there all week. So we decided we didn't need that! Rusty was a terrific traveler.

Rusty cleared his bounce last night and was green at bedtime, but this morning was back in yellow again. Now we have to wait for the new trip bounce to clear. It's hot here, too, but we have fans and porches and more air circulation than we do at camp (which is essentially a small, 1-room cabin).

To the Post Office now. bbl,

Sending healing vines to Rocky, Rocky, Lucy, and all kitties and beans who need some,

Ella & Rusty

Bummer the weather and on another bounce, but Rusty is so good at clearing them.

Ugh on the heat and humidity. We don't get hot often but when we get off shore winds it can soar over 100º. Last heat spell we found this portable air conditioner at Costco. Just put the hose out the window and it's on wheels so it can be easily stored in a close when not needed. We haven't had to use it since we got it, but that high heat really stresses Tess (and us!)

I hope Rusty clears the bounce soon. I don't blame you for leaving under those conditions.

Too bad your time at camp was shortened, but I'm glad Rusty (and his beans) had a safe, uneventful trip home. I hope he clears the bounce quickly and gets back to work at the lagoon.

Have a great day, Ella, and stay cool!

Tillie wants to tell Rusty that she caught a mouse today and made sure that the bean would not practice catch and release.  Too bad about the rowdies at the motel. :-x The Lagoon misses its Meister, Rusty.

Good to hear that Rusty traveled well - maybe he'll head down to the lagoon tonight now that he's home. Sorry you had to shorten your stay due to weather and rowdies. Why do people go out to the quiet wilderness and make so much noise?

Re: 6/30 Rusty AMPS 240, +5.5 236, PMPS 156

 They don't consider it wilderness; they consider it vacationland! And on lakes in the Adirondacks in the summer you often can't avoid it unless you own a large piece of property. Fortunately we can do day trips to real wilderness areas.

Hot here this evening, but the fans are doing great. We do not like a/c and have used it only occasionally--and reluctantly--when we lived in NYC city. For years we lived without a/c. And now we are again. We even lived in Washington D.C. on the second floor of a 2-storey building without a/c! (but we were young then).

Gotta go chillax for a while. Hope all is well in LL,

Ella & Rusty

I am so sorry that your trip had to be cut short. I guess it just was not meant to be. Nice to see Rusty came down to that nice blue tonight.

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

NICE recovery for Rusty! It is nice to see you back at the lagoon, Rusty! it needs its meister.

Bummer on having to end to stay at camp Stu early, but I so understand on the noisy neighbors. For me there is nothing worst that noisy people out on the Wilderness. It is nice that you can avoid it most of the time. Still sorry you had to leave early, due to noise and weather.

I hope you had a good night.
