Good Morning!
We were lucky and still have power and no major tree damage, just a lot of cleanup after the storms all night. We had multiple brown-outs all night and I didn't know if that would be the case today. I wasn't looking forward to going through a 100+ degree day with no power today! I'm listening to the news and all the people without power today & 2 killed by trees and truly feel lucky. (We have hundreds of trees on my property.) Of course, that doesn't mean we won't lose it later, as it's supposed to storm today too.

Racci had her 3 breakfasts before her test & meds this morning, was sweet and affectionate & generally in a good mood but hasn't pooped yet. She's taking a nap now and didn't care about sharing my breakfast today or eating after her shot. I'll wait an hour or so and see if she'll take the rest of her miralax & methyl b12 and a little food. I'd like her to eat again for lunch in case we lose power and it gets hot.

Well, stay cool all and if you're in the area of storms or fires I hope you are spared damage, discomfort or harm.

Hugs,
Melanie & Racci

She's starting to show some more  PS #s. That's terrific!!! Hoping that no more power outages come your way, and that Racci eats more for you, also. Stay safe there, and cool. Thank you for stopping by my condo this morning. I sent you a PM in answer to your question on my condo with regards to how I manage Blackie's weight, etc.

Re: 6/30-Racci-AMPS-137

Thanks Angela. I got your info. That's the kind of info I needed. I know Blackie started out about the same weight as Racci. What a great job you've done!

Racci still wasn't interested in getting up or eating but I was able to get the rest of her meds in. I guess it's just naptime whether I like it or not. For as much as she weighs, one would think she ate a ton! Her problem is she's lazy and doesn't move around.

Yes, Racci's been spending a lot of time green lately! That's some change, huh? Remember when I couldn't get her out of those high numbers no matter what I did? It sure is nice to see blues and greens now. (anti-jinx).

Thanks for stopping by and also for the info!

Yes, it sure is nice to see those greens!!! Very good job Racci, and mombean too!!

Melanie, so happy to hear you have electricity, I hope you keep it. I think the major storms are done for our area and yours, at least for a few days I hope. The storms missed us last night also, but the southern part of NJ got hit pretty bad.

Lovely lagoon swim for Racci today, hope she kept surfing all night too

Re: 6/30-Racci-AMPS-137,+3.5-99,+5-69

Thanks Barb! Racci came back to her greens today but closed the day blue. It's just as well though. This way I don't have to worry about her getting too low too early on and I can sleep.

The storm was pretty bad here. 6 people here in VA died from trees falling on them and there was a lot of damage. The roads here were pretty bad today. They were telling people on the radio to stay home if you could because large branches were still falling and the roads were impassible in a lot of places. My deck was full of branches and tree pods, twigs, leaves, acorns, you name it and DH will have to get up on the roof to clean it off. I can see a lot of branches up there. I guess the thunder is why Racci was high last night. I'm just glad we lucked out! With all the tall trees we have right next to the house and shed & cars we could have had a lot of damage. I just hope it's gone for now.

Well, thanks for visiting! TTYL.

Hugs,
Melanie & Racci

So sorry for the lost of life in the storm. Glad that you & family are safe. We had a typhoon 2 days ago, nothing serious. Hongkong has always been lucky.
Lovely green Racci! I am sure you'll see more in the PM cycle!

HI Helen. I just saw your post from yesterday.

Yes, we were lucky. I'm glad you were too. Typhoons are scary. It does seem that HK has been lucky lately though.

I never thought of thunder storms as scary before as long as you took proper precautions, but I guess in this area they are especially dangerous.

Thanks!
