6/30 Kit AMPS 128, PMPS 99, +1 84, +2 55, +3 50, +4 46, +4.5 51, +5 52, +5.5 63, +6 73

Wow, she’s coasting along nicely, Alicia. It is so interesting that 7% is what you use and I’m using 12.5% to keep Ivy from diving. ECID.
Enjoy the last day of June (what!!) :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Woo hoo. Another exciting cycle!
Looks like she's willing to stay in the green! :D She's doing really so well at this dose.
But she sure is keeping you busy. Sending you the steading vibes :bighug:
Yeah, my goal of getting anything done in the mornings hasn't been going well. I'd love to make it to the farmer's market on a Saturday, or doing my grocery shopping in the morning, but currently that's not really an option.
She does seem to be staying above 50. It's just past +5, so I'm hoping she can continue on without needing food from here on.
But I'm really happy with how this dose has been going. I was getting pretty discouraged and depressed about the whole thing (I know you get that). I hope Mikan gets her booty into gear soon. ❤️

I honestly wasn't sure the 7% or the 5% would be enough, but it seems to be doing the thing. Now we're gonna see if no food keeps her going.
The way different things can affect different cats just adds that extra bit of difficulty. :bighug:

LOVING this Kit Cat!!! Scritches and Kisses
From yesterday:
glucose strip 1+ (I presume this is because of the diabetes?)
Yes, for a time period she was above the renal threshold where glucose has spilled over into the urine. Its *usually* for the 12-24 hour period before the urine was tested. Makes sense to me since she was in the yellows leading up to the urine sample. If you tested her urine today, i'd bet dollars to donuts it would show none.

Transitional epithelia - 2-3 (the paperwork says high, but there wasn't anywhere in the lab listing to put this?)
These can be a sign of a UTI when evaluated with other values.

This was the bit that amused me (I have a dark sense of humor) -
Renal Tech Prediction POSITIVE This patient's RenalTech status indicates that it will develop chronic kidney disease within the next 24 months with greater than 95% accuracy.
This amused me too. Did you get a numeric value for the SDMA?

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D I'm soooooo jealous :p (just kidding).
I'm so happy for you :kiss:
I totally get it. Anytime Kit has been high and I see OTJ's or others who are doing so well, I get super jealous (I also try to make sure I'm feeling happy for them, but there's always that little bit of dang, I want that).
Kit wouldn't be where she is without you, Wendy, and all the others who have helped so much. ❤️❤️❤️
We're sending green vibes to Cleo. Those tri colors gotta stick together!

❤️ ❤️ ❤️ right back at you . It's hard sometimes when she just seems to lose regulation out of nowhere. Ive been blaming it in the eclipse lol.
I've learned to enjoy the greens, blues and even yellows as long as she's living her best (cat) life. Our kitties are so much more than their numbers :cat:

Keeping paws crossed for another awesome pm cycle. Come on Kit, show us flat greens :D

So, the plan is that I'm going to Chicago tomorrow to have lunch with a friend/former colleague, as well as drop off some stuff she left in her office (she was supposed to come back and then didn't, unfortunately). It's about an hour and 15 minutes there. I need to pick up my friend 20 minutes away and we're using my car, so I need to move their car seat to my car since the toddler is coming. So hopefully, fingers crossed and all the anti jinxes there are, I can leave no later than +4. Eric is also working from home and can ply her with foods as needed. I think if she's surfing okay by +4, I'll be okay going. If it's a morning of lots of tests, and limes, I'll probably reschedule.
