AMPS 319, and she was extra hungry this morning! Usually she just meows at me from the bottom of the stairs when she wants to eat (Little Miss Lazypants) - today she was walking all over me, purring, and pretending to bite my fingers.

I know some people use the timed feeder so their babies get a snack around +9 and then don't eat again til the AMPS reading. I don't know if that will work with her. She's always been very much a grazer. Even now, when I know how hungry she is, she just took a few bites, and she'll go back in 20 minutes or so and have a few more. I've been making sure she has a little food when I go to bed around +4.5 after the PM shot, so she should have food until +6 or +7. Is that ok?

Good morning Kristen

If she's not the type to eat it all in one sitting, and Emma is a grazer, maybe put down a bit extra to tie her over till wake up time.
Adding a little bit of water to help keep it fresh and moist helps too.

If you're up earlier than AMPS time, a little low carb treat can help while they wait for breakfast.

Thanks Ronnie. Because of her kidneys, I always add water to her food when I put it down, and then usually add more later...anything to get more water into her!

She's VERY hungry today. I just popped home for lunch, and she's already eaten everything I left for her, that would usually last at least until I get home for the evening.
