Today has been about managing megacolon, another enema and trying to manage that particular condition. It is really difficult to make sure he is getting enough fiber, megacolon treatments, and balancing his diabetic needs. We have been advised to not increase until his #2 issue is better. We may need to change his food again?

We did do an AMPS, which was in the 400's. He bounced from his BG yesterday... Again. Bouncey Cosmo

After an entire day of trying, Cosmo pooped! A large golf ball... Poor guy. We all celebrated together

Constipation can raise numbers. But higher numbers means he's peeing more and potentially getting dehydrated, which makes constipation worse. Good to see things have started to move.

SS updates please, when you can. His body didn't like that blue.

It is a tricky balance for sure and feels like a catch 22 this whole past week. He receives 100 ccs sub q later tonight to keep an eye on his water balance and top him up.
