The vet was very pleased with the progress of Harry's eye. She said after reading the ER report, she was not expecting it to have improved as much. She said eyes either get worse quickly or get better quickly and we have been lucky.
I think we were very fortunate to have struck a vet at the ER who was experienced in eye injuries, and I'm very thankful for that..
Harry still has some redness around the eye and he is still wanting to close it quite a lot but on the whole he is pretty good. Such a relief! He's continuing on the eye ointments, antibiotics and pain relief.
Thank you to everyone for your support, vines, prayers and stories. Every time I come back to FDMB I am reminded what a great community/family it is.
 
So sorry to read about this freak accident. Very happy to see Harry is recovering so very well !!

Thanks for the update. This sounds like good progress. I hope Harry will have a 99% recovery and a tiny tiny scar. Poor kitteh just wanted to be by his Mom.

Harry is doing very well thank you.
Amazingly his eye seems to have fully recovered. He is opening his eye fully now and the eye looks normal.
The vet is very happy with how it has healed.
It was very scary in the beginning but I am very thankful we saw a vet who was experienced with eye injuries.
 
I was also hoping for a good update on this. And this is really great to hear that Harry is recovering very well from that accident. It was so scary. Theresa cringed when I told her about it. We are glad that Harry is not permanently injured.:bighug:
