Well, here we are again, running higher than she should be and no good explanation other than possibly bouncing from the drop last night....but for China, that was a baby drop!

Of course with China, she likes to keep me guessing, so who knows? I suppose it's still possible even with the numbers last night that there's something funky with the insulin, especially after dropping it, but I really don't think so.

Was so thrilled to find the new pharmacy in Canada today! I've searched for online pharmacies for over a year now with better prices that looked legitimate and for some reason, this one popped up this time! I can handle $133 for a 5 pack of pens! I paid $80 for one pen many months ago!

Have to run DM to the doctor this afternoon, so it is kind of nice not to have to worry about China while I'm gone

Chris, I think you have your "good explanation" for why China is running a little higher today: you have to take you DM to the doctor. You know China likes to make it easy for you to leave her when you have to! Such a good girl!

Cinco is poised on the edge of the lagoon, and thought he and China were going to hang out there today, but it looks like she'll just be watching from shore. I'll know in about 20 minutes if he decided to take a dip or just lounge on the shore with China.

Hope all is going well with your DM. Sending good dr vines for her.

That is a great find for lantus. I still have a couple months to go with my vial and three pens that are good until August 15. The pens were shipped to me and had been stored in the fridge until then. If they don't work out I will definitely consider buying from your source. We could likely keep this deal going for as long as the guy is willing to do it. I hope you get some takers now!! Thanks for sharing it.

Max is also higher today for no known reason other than last night's romp in the swamp. I hope China doesn't keep you up too late tonight to make up for today!! Nice of her to let you go with peace of mind though. I hope your mom is doing better.

It's nice that you don't have to worry about China while you take your DM to the doctor. I hope her appointment went well. Hopefully China will get back to the lagoon for you tonight.

well, you know these kitties of ours, Chris......they want to keep us on our toes and guessing. Never ever is it going to be cut and dry!
good find on the Lantus! I just got a shipment of lev about two months ago from Canada...cost me $170, including shipping. I told my doctor that if I ever had to use insulin, I wanted to be on lev....Spot and I can share!

Interesting find on the Lantus. It's in Vancouver where most 5 packs run around $100. I hope it works out for you. BTW: I think your current insulin is working just fine. :lol:

Oh dear! I sure hope Cinco didn't follow China into the lagoon! We won't be home until about +5! I left a big bowl of bonito flakes and freeze dried salmon out for him, in case he decided to dive, but now I'm going to worry! nailbite_smile China, please keep an eye on Cinco for me, and if he's in too deep, please be a love and tow him back to shore!

Just China being China! I know when we first started this dance, someone might actually worry if they saw numbers like hers....now it's just "Ho hum...it's only China"

I told her to take the tow rope with her Tricia....she knows to watch out for Cinco when they go lagoon diving together.

Since I have nothing to compare the prices to except for the prices around here ($350+), the idea of getting it for $133 is a real relief....and as long as it gets here safely and still cool (which he said shouldn't be a problem because they pack their insulin really carefully), I'll be happy! It was just real nice to talk to a real person, not some "sales agents" like they have on a lot of those websites. And if I get a few people to drop my name and order, I'll save even more! The prices I'd seen on other "canadian pharmacy" sites were close to $200 plus shipping and a lot of those sites are listed under the "watch out for these guys" lists and have lots of complaints on their websites.

My friend in BC also told me it was a "real pharmacy", so that made me feel even better. Of course I picked the worst week in the entire summer to try it since there's Canada Day tomorrow and then Independence Day here on the 4th, so post offices aren't going to be running.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and visited today! Looks like I'll be up testing for a little while tonight! (of course...DM's care plan meeting is first thing in the morning)

That's a little better! 64 @ +7

Will set my alarm and get a +9 but I think she'll surf the rest of the night....although with another fast drop, she may be bouncing again in the morning!
