I've been too bummed about her numbers to open a condo the last couple of days, but I missed you guys so I figured I'd better go ahead and make one anyway, as this yellow string seemingly has no end in sight.

WCR: Buzz is acting like normal. Her appetite is good, she enjoys hanging out with me and has been sleeping with me all night recently. Today is her daddy-bean's birthday but he is away so she has no excuse to throw a party. She seems pretty bummed about this.

That +2 is really close to blue. Hopefully she'll come down today.

Why don't you take Buzz's picture and send it to Dave as a present from Buzz? :mrgreen: Maybe she'll put a green dress on for the picture. Or better yet, I hear there's another party tomorrow. I know how much Buzz loves parties!

Great idea about the pic, Ele. Tess is willing to loan Buzz some Mardi Gras beads. They'd look great on her beautiful black fur.

And hey, if all the positive thinking fails, I'm right behind you on that ledge; Buzz's one-year-on-insulin is August 10th. Maybe we can make the ledge really nice-looking: chaise lounges, umbrellas (for shade and in our drinks), relaxing music, good books.

And can we have tv and a fan and make it really cozy and comfy? Why not? It gets a lot of visitors...might as well make it really nice up there. :razz: Shadow is way up on high and is all alone I hope. We don't need any of his friends going up there to meet him. Buzz is fine where she is ...in the yellows.

She listened to you guys! Of course I don't know how much of a drop she had as I was gone from +3 to +7, but at least we did see blue today. I don't figure she went into green but this might be progress.

I took a photo of Buzz for Dave as you suggested, Ele, and I wrote a little birthday message underneath it. I told her to look happy, but you know she doesn't do that very well. Tess' Mardi Gras beads looked lovely, so thank you to her as well.

Yep, Pat, that was my thinking. If we (and others) are going to be up there, it might as well be a nice place. Sort of like RBC apparently is, since it gets so many visitors. :lol:

Buzz's numbers are by no means bad. (I can think of a few beans who would love Buzz's numbers.) You just want the level a little lower overall. The solution is a dosecrease! Buzz has been at this dose for a while and hasn't seen green in 10 cycles. It's your call but I'd be thinking about raising the dose.

(And, having said that, I hope Buzz is reading her condo.)

Hey Buzz, Are you reading what Sienne wrote? Dosecrease for you, and a party, too. Tomorrow we're celebrating Tori's birthday. Mannie and and I, with Spotty's help, are baking another cinnamon birthday cake. See you at Tori's tomorrow afternoon.

Sienne- You are right, of course. I know her numbers could be much worse and I'm glad they aren't. I just don't understand why she does GREAT on a dose at first and then it just get worse and worse until she needs another increase. She is nearly back up to her starting dose on Lantus, and at one point she was down to 0.2u. If I don't see green tonight, I will increase tomorrow. Would you say to a 1.0u (she is currently on 0.75u)?
