I have not opened a condo for Basil for a while because I wanted to have a more complete story to tell when next I reported.
He is doing very well. His BG numbers have been very nice. And his appetite is nearly back to normal. I say nearly because after he recovered from the assault of the antibiotic, I began to recognize the signs of impending hairball-ism. A little hacking. A little grass eating, and the 5am vomiting of clear liquid. Sigh. Sure enough, he delivered a small hairball, but I suspect there is more where that came from.
He is getting to be his feisty old self, smacking at the doggie when he passes by and claiming the best spot on the screen porch for himself. Again, thanks to this group for the help and support. I'll be back next week with another report!
