Rough night for dearest Atlas. Rain, thunder, wind and some fool tossing fireworks into the valley. Not cool at 11:00 at night. Add onto it we have been so dry and the drought is very real, I sure don't like the idea of a forest fire!

Several colleagues from my pet sitting network work the Columbus area. Pray for them and for their safety today as they work their way around to their clients. One is even carrying a chainsaw with them to get into access some areas to check on clients pets & homes (Columbus, Oh area). This is why one should take care when hiring a pet sitter. We have plans of action to deal with these kind of emergencies. From getting to your home, checking on your pets, to securing your home and/or getting your pets to a kennel or another safe location.

I didn't realize Columbus got hit with the storms that moved through here last night. I hope the people in your network stay safe (and dry).

It looks like Atlas' wasn't overly bothered by the storms. Great start for his day.

Beautiful AMPS this morning. Hoping for lower #s for you both today.

I hear that about the fireworks. Although I enjoy seeing them, there are people around here that don't care about what happens to others' properties. I just checked the National Weather Service's website to see the counties under a burn ban. Right now, we're not there... Yet. Stay safe.
