Hi LL,

It's been a few days since I posted last - our last condo was here. It's been a stressful period but things are looking up for all of us. My civvie Jetzin (who wouldn't eat) is now eating everything in sight again. He's been scaring the two sweet cats we've moved in with - showing them that he's boss - which has been a bit of a trial and the house has been a bit tense. There's been no actual fights or swipes so we're not doing too badly.

Angie started venturing out of my bedroom yesterday (she's been in there for a week). She's made three or four quick trips around the house hissing at any body that she sees. The stress obviously hasn't been too much because her blood sugar has been great. I think she's not far off an OTJ trial.

The stress did get a bit much for me again and I've been sleeping a lot more than I would like and missing a lot of her tests. Hopefully we won't be doing it for too much longer.

RECAP:
amps=77, 0.1IU
+3=70
pmps=135, 0.1 IU
+3=52 1 heaped tsp MC
+3.5=83

I need to leave the house at +2 tomorrow in the morning so I was thinking of skipping. Any thoughts?

I'm going to test her again now and go to bed.

Grace

I have her a heaped teaspoon of LC at +4.5. Jetzin is very excited about Angie's low BG. He got treats for her tests and snacks to keep her BG up! :-D

Angie's numbers are looking great!

As far as the morning, I'd let the pre-shot number be your guide. If you can isolate Angie and leave food with her, it may be a way to give her a shot and make sure she eats. The +2 may give you info regarding where numbers are heading. However, it's up to you. If you're nervous about whether her numbers will drop, then you need to do what you think is safest.

Morning Grace - it's good to read that things are starting to settle some for you. Angie's numbers look great! It is nice to think that an OTJ trial is around the corner. If you are at all concerned about tomorrow then I'd skip. I've always felt that safety comes first. Wishing you the best.
