Zener is having a better morning today. :-D Yard patrol completed, meds taken. He got 0.05 ml of gabapentin this morning (that's a new one). Anne read not to give it with antacid (like pepcid or zantac). Anne and I just got back from our exercise and he's up on the condo. To get there, he has to climb up to a small table then launch himself about 2' higher. Kind of amazing to see him do that. He is fearless, our hero. :-D

Aw, I love Zener's condo - I'm so glad he's feeling better and jumping. What a guy!!! I assume you can somehow space out the meds so he can get all that he needs, right?

Wonderful slide today! It's been too long since Zener turned to that page of the playbook. :cool:

I love that he was jumping today. :-D :-D Is that a new thing? Just wondering if the gabapentin is kicking in that soon.

I wonder if the gabo is kicking in that fast? If so I need to investigate it for Mr. Max as he hasn't been on the top of his condo or even on it in at least 8 months!! I'm glad Mr. Z is more himself.

We're not sure the gaba kicks in that quickly, but yesterday we gave him some bupe in the am cycle, then started the gaba last night. Who knows? We also had to cut down his Budesonide for a couple of days because the compounding pharmacy was late in getting his refill to us, so we halved his dose to make sure he got something while we waited. He got back on the full dose of that yesterday, so that may be helping some too.

Tomorrow is Zener's first acupuncture treatment. :cool:

Yo Rusty, I is all in for the World Cup. I's think I do better playing 7-a-side football in the Paralympics with all my special walking ways. -Zener

I'm liking these pm numbers, so far. Hope he continues to slide down and surf in the blues (greens would be nice, too!) Also, I love, love, love hearing that he's feeling better and climbing onto his condo!!! Good job, Zener! Hope he enjoys his acupuncture appointment tomorrow. I can't wait to hear all about it. Ahh, the patented Zener slide! Now, what are we up to tonight, Z-Man? You be headed in the wrong direction. There's still time to turn around.

I'm glad he's feeling better and getting around more. It's always such a thrill when they resume an activity that they had stopped due to discomfort. Have a great night, ladies.
