Thank you for all the visits. Trix is very proud of her Golden Poop Award and she feels Maggie's love shining down on her :YMHUG: . Trix is usually a 36+ hour pooper, so nothing new to report, but I will continue to stalk her LB activities so I know we have consistent results!

Nothing too new to report today. She seems to feel pretty good, and is eating pretty well as long as MamaBean holds the plate. A little while ago, when I got up from my BTB, she followed me downstairs because she was hungry. She hunted down a few stray kibbles left behind by the sloppy kibbleheads while I mixed up a plate of Trixie-appropriate food. I put it on the floor next to her...a few licks, and she walked away. Of course. I gave her a few minutes to settle into her poofball bed upstairs (I knew that's where she was heading), then I followed, plate in hand. Once settled, I held the plate in front of her fuzzy little face and she ate a decent amount...never enough for this MamaBean, of course, but an acceptable amount. So we definitely have a bit of a habit here in conjunction with the p-titis. I guess all we can do is keep plugging along and hope that she'll eventually remember she likes eating without MamaBean holding the plate.

I'm off today...chores, errands, and hanging with kitties! Have a great day, LL!

Nice report today. I missed the poo yesterday, so yay! That is a nice prezzie for your bean Trixie. Oh my on the feeding. She is liking that one on one time with her bean. Your condo is much moe relaxed the last few days, which makes me happy. I was worried about you and know how much you worry about your fuzzy feets. It "feels" like you are able to relax a little more. Have a great day Amy!!

I have my ups and downs, that's for sure! I wish she'd get back to eating "normally"....THAT would make me feel relaxed. But I know at this point, that may never happen, so I guess I have to get used to it...

It will happen. It takes a long long time to get over ptitis. I thought the same thing too. ((((Amy)))) The insulin thing is a little odd though. :-D

She keeps me guessing with those darned "PS" numbers, so I always feel like I have to do a follow-up test, and those always land her in the normal range. It's crazy!

I sure would appreciate if Trixie would talk to Shasta about how to go no-insulin!!! The plate holding is one thing, but I would love for her to go insulin-free. :YMSIGH: Hope you get all your chores and errands done today!

She will start eating regularly when the p'itis totally clears. One other thought is that the diabetes makes them more hungry so maybe what you think is a normal appetite actually isn't. Does that make sense? I also think this could be habit because Max started going under the bed to sleep and even when he feels well and has no reason to suspect I will do anything to him or go to the vet he still spends a lot of time there.

Thanks for helping me out this morning. It looks like the day may be crazy too. nailbite_smile

Well, it is quite a honor to win the Golden Poo award so Trix is right to be proud of her accomplishment. :-D   Sending plenty of appy vines.

And that you have a nice day off, even with all the errands etc. Evening comes, maybe time for some relaxation. Have a good one.

Golly, Amy, I sure can't understand why you don't want to follow Trixie around with the food bowl in your hand  It's good exercise!
Congrats on the Golden Poop Award!
It's great that Trixie is staying off the juice. She is an amazing kitty (and she has an amazing mamabean).

Have a great evening. Thanks for visiting us,

Ella & Rusty
