Carefully I measured her for her AMPS shot 598 Since I was on the run, I forgot to give her the AMPS shot. So I gave it when I came home at 2:40 pm, or, measuring from the morning test, at + 5. PMPS 396, +6 411

Furthermore, I saw 9 flicker by when I inserted the strip. I knew 9 is for dogs, so Icwent back and changed the 9 to an 8. Unfortunately the Alphatrak2 directions never mentioned this problem, so I never saw that 9 before. I was always focused on TiTi s ear, where I needed to prick her.

This means that some of my tests might have tested TiTi as if she was a dog.

As it turns out, the number 8(for cats) held the next time I tested. I think it's very seldom that it flips to dog values, and i may have caught the only time it did. I tend to catch things out of the corner of my eye, but don't remember them, unless they seem remarkable, which is what happened this time.

Her numbers were running so high and now barely squeaked into the 300s.

Is TiTI bouncing, or is this the wonky?

Kathy - I know that's not really funny but it did make me grin. I hope TiTi doesn't start barking. :) Another reason I grin, KT (GA) used to bark...now 'Stache, our youngest kitten, barks.

I've forgotten to give a shot too but I didn't discover it until the next shot time. I wondered the next morning why I still had an empty syringe cap laying on my shelf.

HUGS!

Also remember to check the code on each bottle of AT strips because they are not always the same code for cats. It changes and so you might have to recode the meter each time you open a new bottle of strips.

yes, I consider the forgetfulness you mention to be a classic. Somehow it seems as if the task is completed once you do the ear prick, maybe because the ear prick has a certain drama, so the dosing seems like an anti-climax.

The dog values might ner kinda serious since I'm bouncing aoo over the place, and those bounces usually indicate some important possible valu

How I wish Alphatrak2 had mentioned this, or maybe they did and I missed it. es.

I did check the them. 8 is for cats
