Good Morning Everyone,
Rain this morning (much needed, even if I did have to postpone until tomorrow the bike ride I was supposed to lead today). Stu had such a great day yesterday that I think it wore him out. He didn't pound once last night, and didn't wake us up this morning. I worried a bit this morning because he had seemed so sleepy last night (but his bg was not too low last night at bedtime); then I worried that he might have eaten a poisonous plant yesterday. But then, while I was worrying, he came up the stairs and all was OK. He played with his toys while we were getting the testing stuff ready, took his test, ate some breakfast and had his shot, went outside briefly in the rain (got under the car and watched 2 yearling deer), went down into the basement and licked a plastic bag, napped in his basket, and just now was turned out of his basket by DH so that he could have his +2. So I think Mr. Cat is fine and simply is not enjoying this rainy, tepid weather.

Ella how about planting catnip or cat grass outside, so he wiil just eat that instead of those brown & green weeds?? Just a thought--sure you thought of it too :lol:

It's raining here today too. But the grass is needing it so we can't complain.
Stu is looking good today, hope he has a wonderful day.

Man, you like to lick plastic bags too? It's one of my favorite things in the world, but my bean doesn't like for me to do it. One time I got the handle of a plastic shopping bag stuck around my neck (loosely) and it scared me so I took off running but then it was flapping at me. I scared my brother so much (he thought I was chasing him) that he wouldn't come out from under the bed for hours, and then for months afterwards he freaked out anytime he heard a plastic bag rattling. It was pretty intense; I hope nothing like that happens to you. Don't eat poisonous plants either; stick to catnip and maybe some grass.

The chef hasn't much appetite today and hasn't cooked a thing! I think he's a bit under the weather. His bgs have been good, but he's spent most of the day sleeping. Didn't eat any of his dinner so far. He did throw up 2 small hairballs and 1 medium-size hairball today. Maybe he'll feel better later. I'm keeping my eye on him.

Stu - you OK man? You 're not sick or nuthin' are you? My sister was sick today, she finally is better. She had lots of pukus too, and wouldn't eat, and just laid there. It was scary, but I watched over her, and i think she is ok now. So- don't be sick, ok? I am sitting by my bean and watching so that I know you are ok. ~~ your bud, Mannie

Nice BG's for Stu ! I hope he is feeling better soon. Drives me crazy when they are under the weather - wish I had a crystal ball that spoke cat. Hope all is well with Stu.
